As a resident I will speak honestly. You are correct Cartersville feels like a Hallmark Christmas movie especially with our annual Christmas Parade. City of cartersville school districts is amazing. There special education program in Bartow County and Cartersville City schools are amazing. As a black woman, I can speak on the diversity. I haven't experienced an racism here in Cartersville. I am originally from Buffalo NY. Also, I pay less in Mortgage for a 3500 sq.ft home than I did for a 2 bedroom apartment in Marietta. All in all. In my opinion, it's a great place to live.
Thank you for the videos! I've lived in Walton, Cobb and Gwinnett and these videos are helping me with deciding on my next move when I relocate back to the metro area.
You listed the school system, Bartow County Schools, as a con of Cartersville living. It seems that you are unaware that we have two school systems here. If you live in the city limits of Cartersville your school system is Cartersville City Schools, not Bartow County Schools.
Hi Dianeh, That was an oversight and I corrected it in the next video relating to Living in Cartersville. Thank you for bring it up here in the comments.
Another con is there is not much to do in Cartersville sometimes but also a pro is that a lot of things are close if you live down town and not so many cars
Thanks for watching! I never said Cartersville was Atlanta. Also Bartow county is apart of the Atlanta-Sandy Spring- Alpharetta Statical Map here’s a link to learn more: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlanta_metropolitan_area I hope this helps with the understanding of what’s considered “Metro Atlanta”from the Statical Analysis perspective.
