Its just a small town . You need a car to live there so you can get around. It's woodsy there . It gets super dark at night . The roads are skinny . When it's dark then you can't see at all unless your in the middle of downtown .
Really love these videos. Me and my husband just moved here from Colorado. These videos have helped us prep before our move and are helping us consider where we want to buy a home before we start raising children.
@@coincollector542 I think how I worded things may have given the assumption that I actually live in Derry. I live just north in Manchester but spend a good bit of time in the area. I like it. It's a very easy going place to be and reminds me a bit of living in the rural south, but you're still close to bigger cities. Nashua is nice as well, and like all places there are some bad areas. Don't let people's opinions steer you away from Nashua. It has some nice areas as well and I quite enjoy Nashua and their rail trails for biking.
I think the US crime map you posted in the vid was the wrong one. NJ #4 safest? Really? I live here sad to say and we have several of the most dangerous cities in the whole country right here.
Where are the photos of Derry? The only identifiable one is an aerial picture of the Pinkerton Building. I grew up in Derry, it is not nor ever was picturesque. The comments about taxes are true. Be careful, the video poorly portrays reality. Take a drive around the town, that's reality.
