𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚….
I am in ❤️ with Dubai and here is why:
Yeah, sure, it’s tax free!!! It took quite a while to get used to calculate with the FULL AMOUNT of my income when I was doing my financial planning. 🫠 The first few times, I was automatically cutting it into half. Bad old habits…😅
IMAGINE! Here in the United Arab Emirates, whatever money you earn, it’s all yours!! The country is TAX FREE! Also, there is no inflation, so my money has the same value now than 1.5 years ago when I moved here. 💸
I love this financial aspect, but there are other things which I would not want to give up anymore.:
One of them it’s the safety.
Here in Dubai, I can walk out on the street alone, any time of the day, it’s completely safe. Not like in Hungary, there are parts of Budapest which is an absolute NO to walk alone after dark. 🧟♀️
I remember I had to text my mom whenever I travelled somewhere to let her know that I am in once piece, nothing happened. She would be completely relaxed here in Dubai (as much as a mom can be relaxed 🤪).
Dubai is generally a safe and secure place to live and visit, with low crime rates and a strong police presence.
Dubai is super clean!!! 🧹
If you ever complained about having to clean your room as a child, imagine the monumental effort it takes to keep an entire mega city clean. And yet Dubai manages to sparkle, day after day. 🌟🌟
The government issues fines for eating, drinking or chewing gum on public transport, washing cars in undesignated areas or even for spitting. 🥵 It seems harsh at first, but on the other hand with these rules, Dubai is nice and shiny any time of the day! I LOVE it!
High standard of living:
Dubai has a high standard of living, with a wide range of amenities and services available, including excellent healthcare and education.
For me, it’s cheaper to have a normal life here than in Copenhagen. I have sexier car, nicer apartment, and I can afford and enjoy social life aspects of life. 🥳
In Denmark, while paying taxes other obligations, couldn’t eat out every Saturday and Sunday. Since I am living in Dubai, I never eat at home during the weekend (not only because I don't cook 🤭). 😋Obviously I am not eating in the Burj Khalifa... I know my favorite places which are good price, big portion and taste like a piece of heaven! 🍗🥗🍨🍹☕️
And of course: It's alwaaaays good weather, sunshine, bye-bye wet socks and winter jacket! 🌞🏖⛱ Living here, every weekend is a real holiday, so much to see and explore. ❤️
