I live in Edmonton. Another con is the construction. Over half the city has its roads torn to pieces, and they’ve been like this for years. And will be this way for years to come.

I first visited Edmonton in 2004 and I"m quite impressed by how much the city has changed ever since then. there wasn't homeless people by then.

i don't know about "you won't get bored" some of us enjoy roaming around malls, and sometimes we go around shops and bars. the problem is they closed early. yes, 5pm or 6pm is early. also, it's hard to make friends here. also we rely on amazon nowadays. they don't have prime now here. a single part i need on whatever i want to repair, shop owners will say "just look on amazon". and amazon is slow on getting our items to our home. next day deliveries are slow, same for online same days deliveries and it will arrive at night airport needs a huge upgrade to accomodate more international flights. we're paying more to get to our destination via calgary, vancouver, or toronto

One thing I don’t understand about Edmonton is, why this city didn’t make thr river accessible to people to enjoy like Calgary ? 😐 it’s like wasting ur only good thing in a city man 😅

An honest review of the negatives of Edmonton that the mainstream progressive media won't report on. She's an agent I would trust.

Every city in North America has a homeless problem, so that goes without saying.

I'm new to Edmonton and looking to get a home. Yes some of them are cheap. But I'm realizing how poor quality the construction seems. So many cracking foundations. I can't feel comfortable with a more expensive home here knowing it might have major issues. If I were to buy something instead of just pay rent I think I would buy one an older home in rough shape for lot value, and then just fix it up a bit to make it into a bit better healthier livable state.

Many people opt to buy an older home for larger lots and space. Building sweat equity is for sure a smart decision.

Compared to Vancouver, Edmonton is an easy street. Not that bad at all.

How’s the healthcare compare to Toronto ?

Long line ups at hospitals as well.

@@BuyEdmontonProperty thats what about specialist appointments and getting family doctors? how long does that take with your personal experience. Toronto is long too but what pisses me off is getting a family doctor is much more scarce now, and people now have to wait much longer for specialists.

Wow that's disappointing. The 3 things I hate about Victoria rn. High taxes, shitty downtown, bad municipal govt.
