Great video!! I used to live in Encinitas (“New Encinitas”) before Ls Costa. Thanks for not adding too many commercials, it was very enjoyable to watch. 👏🏻
Looking to move from WA to CA, surrounding San Diego areas and have been consistently coming back to your guy's channel due to the great videos you put out. Keep it up, it's been very helpful to find out about the different areas to live. Thank you for the work you both do!
I’m from Bellevue Washington originally. Encinitas is nice but it’s not a rich community like they advertise. I wait on them so I know. Bellevue my average table was 20 here in Encinitas it’s like 6to 8. Same in Cardiff, Del Mar and all the other quote on quote fake rich ppl
You know what faux leather is thats Californians. They all buy overly expensive cars and ten million dollar homes and tip like 2 bucks 😂. That’s why there’s so many homeless ppl with full time jobs.
Washington is a better state buddy I’d stay there. They got more money, better jobs a better quality of life. The sun is great but you’ll work every damn day for it so you’ll never enjoy it. I miss Washington ppl and there kindness and generosity
Considering a move to San Diego in the future and have a couple questions. I've been reading about prop 13 and have been wondering if I purchase a house today for $900,000, will the new assessed value be $900,000? Or is it going to be some number below that? Also, are closing costs on a town house around the same in comparison to a single family home? Thanks for all your content!
Hi Shawn - yes your property taxes would be based off $900,000 but they can only go up by 2% per year at most. So if prices go up by 5%, your property tax can only go up 2% And yes closing costs would be about the same for a townhome vs single family home
Encinitas is nice if you have a family or are a senior. But if you are single adult the beach will get boring fast due to all the families and seniors.
I remember when this little town used to be chill and had a good mix of people and affordable apartments not like that anymore. Your better save your pennies if you plan on visiting. Even the homeless crew hit you up for 5$ instead of asking for spare change.
