Hi Vanessa silent watcher here. I love what you're doing shining a spotlight on young movers and shakers in Ghana. Can i suggest you get Leroy Wadie on your channel for your next batch of interviews . He is doing great things with his Mhossenu arthouse as well as Danny Wonders and Dentaa. I would like to see some techpreneurs in Ghana who I feel like are sometimes overlooked. I hope I'm not asking for too much. Thanks

I’ve never been to the continent of Africa & I’m not even Ghanaian, but being of the diaspora I LOVE seeing videos on RU-vid highlighting Africa in a positive light. Your channel makes me all the more excited to visit Ghana. Everyone I know who has visited Ghana absolutely loves it there. Your channel is inspirational. Great job! New subscriber for sure.

VANESSA the dollar fluctuations too. Ask any one into forex. Using the dollar may be good for businesses to price products easily and budget for the future with less variance in actuals but it does not negate the fact that it contributes to the devaluation of the Ghanaia Cedis.

OMG, Jewel is amazing ! I love her designs and would love a few of her pieces when I get my home. I will be in Ghana in September to start the process of repatriation. I am so proud of all the Africans coming home to make the continent SHINE! I am so proud to be of African descent and I think many African Americans are coming into knowledge of self and the need to connect with the continent from which we were violently snatched from our Families, land, homes, & culture. Thanks Vanessa, this has been a great video and learning experience!

I live in Ghana, I moved from the UK. I refuse to buy anything in dollars as I think its just absurd in terms of value for your money in-comparison to the Ghana Cedi , granted if you want to live in certain areas they only accept dollars. But I live in one of the best neighbourhoods here in Ghana and I pay cedis. Lol maybe im just stubborn, but I will hunt and find exactly what I want and pay in cedis. Great interview nice to see the Diaspora living here, definitely easier than done but its definitely a rush! and a exciting time to be in Africa.

Love the channel and the interviews you conduct. I am Nigerian living in the U.K., but would like to debunk the notion that quoting in Cedis is an issue, ummmm. Would not want to make a comparison, but they quote in Naira, I mean millions of Naira at that. You could quite in Cedis, and in brackets insert the dollar equivalent. I would hope your channel is catering for the diaspora and as well the locals. Just a thought Again, it’s a well put up channel, thank you.

What is the big deal about kings? It means that one person is the king, (a man) everyone else is a peasant a democracy is a better idea. Also the Greeks built Alexandria the clue is in the name, but no matter what the neonazis say the ancient Egyptians were African just look at their art.

; “The Artist’s Odyssey.” via; Artist, & Author and one of those an early pioneer (1965 t0 1976) Like Nkrumah once said; “Teach a man, you teach an individual; teach a woman, you teach your people.” Decades later, I say, it ain’t necessarily so, in these computers days. TEACH everyone who have a his/tory to share. Question is; would such history be of interest to today’s educators & students? During the 11 years (1965 to 1976) I lived in Ghana, and west Africa, I carved small pieces of ivory chips (1 to 3inches) and cow-horns into traditional African symbols and miniature reproductions of traditional sculptures and masks; which enable me to earn a living and hire 2 assistance which made me legal in the eyes of Ghanian and immigration officials. After being adoptive by an Ashanti paramount chief, Nana Kwaku Duah the Agogo-hene, of the Ashanti Akim, all doors were open to me and in spirit of the mind, I was citizen of Africa and respected as such.. It was a born again experience, which remains with me to this day, 50+ years today.
