Why is the apartment spooky you ask?
Anything that doesn't have an official age is definitely spooky in my book (literally no age on the contract where it should be...and the realtor didn't know) but also my friend said the interior sliding doors rattle every night around 3am and that sounds too spooky to me 🥺
What do you think of my friend's apartment? Could you live there? I personally wouldn't for a few reasons, but in exchange he gets to live near a desirable area of town for a decent price considering how large the apartment is by Tokyo standards!!!

hi everyone~~ would you live in this apartment? actually it reminds me a lot of the teacher's apartment i lived in when i was on jet 😆 but of course this one has a way better location!! sorry this video is a bit shorter and rushed...actually I got my booster shot directly after filming this and have been kind of dead since then...I edited almost all of it this morning 😅 this is kinda tmi but i got the fun side effect of swollen lymph nodes in my arm...so basically if my arm isn't at a very specific angle it is very very uncomfortable 🥴

Thank you so much for this very interesting video. It didn’t seemed rushed at all. And thank your friend for allowing to show his apartment on the internet. It’s always so interesting to see normal apartments of different people. Not the super fancy ones that almost no one can afford. I really liked this apartment too and I would definitely live there. It has a good size, nice kitchen and enough space for one person. I would just redecorate it a little bit. It’s definitely a guy’s apartment 😉. But it seems nice. Only that it’s one the first floor would be a little bit of a problem for me. As a girl I always make sure the apartment I live in is on the second floor or higher. Just feels safer to me. But maybe that would be an issue in Japan since they don’t have a lot of crime like burglary there. Idk. Anyway, I hope you’re feeling better now. I had those side effects every time too. So I know it hurts a lot. But after taking some ibuprofen it got better real quick. Get well soon! And until next time 👋🏻

I hope you're feeling better from your booster. I got the swollen lymph nodes but in my neck, along with almost all the listed side effects and even some not listed. The apartment could be doable, just not long term for me. Every time I watch apartment tours I think, "oh that could work for me" then I look over at my Starbucks mug collection "maybe not" 😅

so many tokyo apartments have the washing machine outside, on the terrace or balcony, it makes sense if you’re hanging your washing out on the balcony as well.

honestly a bus ride to the station isn’t that bad for me here in canada it’s like quite a few stops to the station and for abt 850/month is amazing !

That was awesome! Thank you to your friend for letting you film what apartment he has. Whenever I think of apartments in Japan especially in bigger cities I think of ones more like his for the average single person. I like how it was set up but I'm sure it gets cold come winter time! Are you allowed to have pets? Not bring them with you from US but getting one while you are there, like a cat or hamster? Thanks for sharing as always!

Technically most apartments don’t allow them but people sneak in those 😂 A dog on the other hand… 😆 but there are pet friendly ones too, just pricier usually!

Ooo I like this apartment a lot 😯 maybe the only downside (aside from earthquake safety 😂) is the washer being outside? Idk if that’s common over there but I would def be too lazy to bundle up in the winter to do laundry 🤣

Having to take the bus to the train station is another added expense of probably close to $5 roundtrip. $5 everyday for a month is $150 if you only take 1 trip a day. I would have thought the Starbucks in Tokyu Plaza in Harajuku would be your fav.

If mac, I’d compare the prices in your home country and here since the yen sucks right now 😂 For windows, might be better to get in your home country if you don’t want a Japanese keyboard!! (Mac you can get US and other keyboards, but Windows depends on the model)
