Listening to all this as an American & not hearing any "red flags" worst than what I'm dealing with here & that includes cost of living. I'm more & more convinced everyday
Thanks sisi ✨🌿 I’m moving that side for studies soon so it’s lovely to hear an all round perspective on London from a South African. All the best on you journey!
Great video! 💕 I live in the North, and generally the further up North in England you are the cheaper the accommodation will be 🙌🏼 but down-side is it's much colder than London 😂 we can't have it all!
Thanks for the video Nobue. I am planning to move in the next 2 years after being Admitted as an Attorney here in South Africa. 2 years feels too far but I honestly can't wait!
Currently living in the Netherlands, thinking of relocating to London..Thank you so much for sharing such important points but as for the weather, I don't think it can ever beat Netherlands shity weather..excuse the strong language 🙂
Angisayi ndawo!!! I am so happy to see London from a South African perspective, I have been searching for South African in London bengilokhu ngithola abantu from different countries except South Africa.Planning to move next year for Social Work currently in USA 🇺🇸
Hey lovie, if you go towards south east London you'll find the african shops i.e. Peckham, Woolwich, Lewisham area have more than enough. Also, there's a butchers I can give for wors at much lower prices.
ohh thanks lot madam khumalo really appreciate ur guidance .have been following u ,for recent months surely very many people are benefing alot in this blog am niwagaba from uganda ,have striving to get there and its some how stil hard but but have hope that one day will be like u guys and thinks its everyones dream to visit in uk..
Thank you very much for this. It was truly insightful. Given that you made the video about a year ago, would you say that your final monthly living expenses of just below £2000 would have notched up? And, generally, how much would you average out the monthly living expenses of a couple (perhaps one similar to you and your husband)?
Good video from content, technical (lighting, editing) and the positive energy of the video. What did you use to add the text on the right side of the screen?
Great video! Thanks for the info, now we can start planning our vacations ….. of course after the rates normalize coz maaa’m😂😂😂 the conversions i’m doing in my head. What about hair dos and nail bars … you know African girly stuff🤗🙊😋
@@NobueKhumalo lol destination was e wrong word l guess l mean places e.g when u in Byo there is Matopos wildlife where there is canoeing, ziplining etc , overnight accommodation cost
London is very expensive not just to live but to survive. don't bother coming here unless you can hit the ground running on a salary of £45-55k per annum, don't have a family here unless you have a household income of at least £50k per annum plus £5k per annum, per child, plus adjustment for inflation, so 2 kids is £60,000 per annum
The City is more ideal for a young person starting out. As the breadwinner of my family (3 kids and a working husband) I find the cost of living staggering! Nursery costs are a rip off and property rental another horror if you want to live privately.
Hi there - sorry I missed your comment. It depends on a lot of factors, your budget being the main one. If you want more affordable places your should move further out e.g. Essex, Surrey, Milton Keynes but the downside is that it will take you over an hour to get to work.
Hi Sis. I'm planning on moving to London in June/July this year. I'll be using a visitors visa (6months) and staying with family so I was wondering how much would I need to save up to prove I can take care of myself whilst I'm there for those 6 months. ❤️🌺
Hie, first of all don’t write that you will be there for 6months, otherwise you’ll need over £6000. Write something like 3 weeks and have about £1500 saved. They will still give you a 6months visa and you can stay as long as you want while it’s valid
Hi I just started your videos and a bcom accounting first year student with an interest to do my article overseas in London mainly. Please help with some guidance 🙏
That's s very subjective question lol. It depends on what your job is and what you get paid. I'm a lawyer, my husband is an engineer so for us yes there is enough money to save and invest. Hope this helps
😂 thing is I generally don't like braids and I prefer to retouch my own hair. Lots of my friends get braided though. I just don't have the interest. Its my hair or wigs for me.
Thanks for this video. Very informative hey. In your next video plz talk about medical expenses too coz I'm really keen on hearing about that as well as work vibes..oh and church tooo chile..
