Maitland Florida is an amazing smaller suburb of Orlando. Adjacent to the city of Winter Park and just outside of Downtown Orlando, Maitland offers a ton of opportunity for both older and newer homes. If you're looking for a quaint town close to the action, Maitland could be home! Today my agent partner Lindsay Chancellor takes me on a tour of the city she calls home.

We dislike the new, cookie-cutter “white walls, gray accents” mega-houses on postage stamp lots. The vintage vibe in Maitland sounds like a great place for us. 🏡 Thanks for this video.

It's quaint, until the developers want to build on EVERY SINGLE INCH of land and get their way. I grew up in Los Angeles and watched it with my own eyes. What places need, Ken, is a healthy balance of living space, commercial space, and nature space. Love your channel, I live on the Space Coast.

Thankfully Maitland‘s fairly built out. Not a lot of empty space for them to do anything. I totally appreciate what you’re saying though! We’re expanding to the space coast this year! Starting up at Ormond Beach down to the new Smyrna area, and then continuing on down the coast. 🤞🏽💪🏼

Hey Ken! Love your videos. I actually share them with my family and friends in LosAngeles, where I am originally from, to try snd get them to move here to Florida. I'm so glad you made a video of Maitland. But, there is more to Maitland then Lindsey showed in the video. I've been living in Maitland for about 20 years and I absolutely love it here.

Altamonte is where you need to be seriously. two lakes (lake Lotus and Crane's roost) a mall right there, and a super easy commute into orlando. House have been snatched up like crazy in the last year but an number are still out there and tons of apartments are still up for rent. worth it too

Thanks for a good video! There's a big sewing machine/quilting store very close by, so that's all I need to be convinced. I figure if a town can support a quilt shop that's a good sign :)

There’s about a dozen or so developers across the US that build these cookie cutter neighborhoods. They know what will sell and don’t have interest in being creative.
