Nice I have a listing in Donnelly near Cascade Lake: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3xCCMJX1NA8.html , and the Ragazza Di Bufalo that is based out of Donnelly just opened a new location in McCall. What is your fav. thing to do when you come into town?
@@TeiaGolden my cabin is also right by the lake! I love going up to Tamarack and skiing or mountain biking depending on the season. I am up here right know and we are bummed out that all the skiing is filled up for the weekend. We saw the email 3 hrs after it came out and it was already filled up!
We really dont need any more 2nd home owners. Looking for people who will be a part of the community and not try to turn our mountain town into some overdressed resort.
@@hannahstewart8826 I would very much be part of the community, probably spend at least six months there . Maybe come come full-time some day. And no I'm not from California. From neighboring Washington.
We would like to know the pieces of homes. We would be at the low end. Are there small lodges or small apartment buildings for sale? Thank Ken and Maggie Schacht
Unfortunately, wealth and wage disparity is striking all over the US. It is a part of the system of “these United States” and population growth. It is sad to see our “sleepy hometowns” change to investment strategies (like Tamarack), but entirely unavoidable. With outside investors comes a radically imbalanced value/price increase in local communities. It is real and it is painful, but nothing can be done about that unless you just shut them all out. Then you have no more hotels and hockey rink, etc... The good news: there is MASSIVE opportunity for skilled trades labor, a boom in fact, that will launch the next generation of middle class while at the same time, there is no guarantee that the millionaires of today will either last or that their children will steward the millions to generational wealth. This brings a certain cycle of wealth in the free enterprise system. Those who dare often succeed. Those who don’t must be content with a wage...
There's tons of jobs here, the problem is there's not enough affordable housing for the workforce. Many have yo go through employee housing of one of the bigger establishments up here that offer it. All of McCall suffers from an employee shortage due to this issue, and it's especially bad now that we can't get seasonal workers from other countries as usual.
