I moved to Bay View in 1983 with my family. I was 13. I lived on the corner of Russell and Superior st. Across the street from Club Garibaldi's.and a block from Groppies. I'm not sure if that store is still open or not. In 2013, I moved to South Dakota and I do miss Bay View a lot. I went to Bay View High School and was in the class of 1989. I used to like seeing the airplanes flying over Bay View Terrace. It became relaxing after a few years

@@jcasto7343 that's a great place! Strategically Q4 is the best time to buy a house. Inventory is dwindling down a bit from summer, but so are prices. The worst time to buy are Jan and February - too many buyers fight over the 3 houses for sale!
I remember when the South Shore pavilion was for swimming in summer and ice skating in the winter. I hear it is now a beer pavilion. In the seventies that road your on by the lake was all gravel and stopped by Texas Rock. Now it is all paved. Went to Bay View H.S. know the area VERY WELL.

As you were talking about commercial plane traffic in the video a plane flew over my house. 😅 I enjoy the background noise of the city but maybe it's not for everyone. Great video!
Thanks for another Milwaukee neighborhood video! Even for someone who has lived here for 10+ years, it is still really helpful to learn more in depth about different neighborhoods. Also, from 13:22 until the end of the video is just a blank black screen, not sure if you intended on that.
Great to hear Tyler! And frankly, same for me! With clients I am all over the map and more focused on the details of the transaction than the neighborhood, I always learn stuff when I do a deep dive into an area! I hope I was finally able to edit out the blank parts! YT is processing, let's see...
Yes, an urban issue, gotta lock your car, leaving a laptop out on the seat is not a great idea etc; seems like not enough to really show up much on the data, but I have heard some comments. Seems to be in line with other areas like Tosa, especially the more NE parts. Did you have a personal issue?
