I appreciate you making this video! Funny thing is I live in Lehigh county Pennsylvania and im moving down to Naples for work in March. Im very very excited im a golfer and I want to get into pickleball too. We’re currently looking down there stuck between either starting to rent and then buy or buy in January-ish to close by March. Also stuck between a condo or trying to find something single family. Oh the decisions!
I know Leigh County very well! My family went through the same decisions when I relocated here for a job in 2013. I would love to help you. Give me a call at 239-450-5786.
My parents lived in Naples for 5 years in the late 80's early 90's. We watched its development then. (Traffic) I remember my dad had a paper route and delivered To the condos on Gulf Shore blvd. There were some famous names on his route! At one point I believe Naples have the highest real estate values in what seemed to be clustered in the smallest area of private estates on the beach. He said you could set your watch by the seasonal residents. The Monday after Easter they would leave in droves. Definitely a Midwestern vibe completely different than Broward and Dade counties. Thanks for the Video (can I make one observation? you're moving your hands and arms too much! Working in production I can't help but spot these things!
I moved to Naples From California. It is not worth it! I thought the rents would be cheaper, and they are not!!! It is sweltering relentless heat! The landscape is littered with Strip Malls. Everything here is very expensive. California is has way more to offer at the same price. Homes are cheaper, but not the rentals. Housing is rising by the day! The traffic is horrible! I see an accident every other day. To many people are moving here. It’s not that great, I’ve lived all around the country.
Thanks for watching. The great thing about this country is there is a perfect spot for everyone. Sorry to hear Naples isn’t your perfect spot! For my family, it truly has become home!
Multiple airports within a two hour drive? I only drive two hours to an airport because some cheap friend got a deal to Europe out of New York! Parking ate the savings.
Thanks for watching! Our closest airport (RSW) is 30 minutes away. If you’re looking for other flight options, we benefit from having multiple airports within a reasonable distance.
Median is where half the properties sold for more than the quoted price and half sold for less. It is not an average so multi million dollar sales does not distort the median like it does the mean
Thanks for watching. You are correct in your definition and I was trying to keep it simple. The Naples market is complex in the fact that we have a huge range of property values to work with.
It is rather strange that you call a humid and heat combination as a good weather. It is a worse combo possible. Good weather is when humid is low. Under 45.
@@livinginsouthwestflorida nope. Most people who claim they love FL weather spend 95% of time in AC environment. In short, they lie to themselves and us. They need a reason to justify their decision to move to FL Truly healthy climate can be found in southern CA or north Italy or Greece. Also in Portugal and most Spain.
Lived here all my life love it,don't like Naples go back home,to many moving here, rich have taken over here.beaches for one.use to drive on beach years ago,to much building going on for one.over population here now.i liked it back in 70s better .needs to go back to 70s again.to many peoples here yes
Naples is beautiful and I love the beach there but I just don’t think it’s a convenient location due it not having a major airport my uncle lives in Naples and he often has to come to Tampa or Miami to catch a flight
Thanks for watching. As I mentioned in the video, RSW Airport in Ft. Myers is a great airport, but we do have the options to use other airports for better flights.
