@@petr416 Ostrava Mordor city 🤣 I'm gonna have to make my way over there one day and check this mordor city out. ;))) And let the world Envy the CZ. :)))
And yes, I understand completely what you mean when you say you love Czech republic. Only at some point in life you realize how our nature actually gives you these warm feelings. It's not like Alps or Norwegian fjords, it's not monumental, it's just warm, cozy, even romantic
totally.... czech republic is just chill. i love it here...i cant wait to see every corner of this country! im so glad i decided to stay here. im never leaving, period!
@@ceskapohadka have you been to Jeseniky or Beskydy mountains? Such great places to visit and to drive to, when you see them getting closer and closer.
Hello from southeast Texas, love your video. All of my grandparents came from Moravia, Czech Republic and settled in Texas back in 1890’s. My parents took groups to Czechoslovak started in 1960’s and went with them many times.❤ Thanks
My great grandparents came from Moravia Czech Republic also.i was born and raised in Nebraska and have been living here in west Texas over 30 years. My great grandparents spoke limited English and my grandmother spoke Czech and English and I enjoyed listening to her stories and how they came to America.
And I think they put some into gas/diesel here in the CZ,,, not really 100% about that, but something like that. Thanks for watching and have a nice Christmas! :))
Randomly found this video and I find it funny, how you get confused about communicating with strangers. Here, no one is nice to people they don't know, we're polite at best. You are not supposed to ask how people are doing, in a shop you pay and you leave. That's it. Even though I've never been to America, I feel like everyone there is fake. Why would you smile and make conversation with a stranger, like I don't care about your response to a question about how you are doing if it's socially unaccaptable to not say you're doing good. But other than my rant, it's nice to see people liking my country. Everyone is saying how stuff is expensive, how politicians are useless or just trolling and how if you are smart, you leave in persuit of better pay elsewhere and you are just like, yeah Czech Republic, love it. I am honestly afraid to imagine what it's even like to live in the USA.
I loved Moravia. I lived in Prague and so many were downright cruel. I never got that in Moravia. Sure, some were dour, but for the most part the Moravians are laid back and friendly
@@DJarry394 even us moravians don't like prague people that much xd we make jokes about them bc you can recognise how a prague person is driving in a moravian village
I had a dream about finding amanita muscaria (fly agaric) in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 🍄 it was a beautiful dream 😊 thank you for letting me see this landscape in real life now!! To je dobrý věc ✨
This has got to be in Moravia. I used to work in a place called Mikulov. Lots of wine making. Two of my students had wine cellars, one was 500 years old. The best wine I ever had, outside of France. The people were friendly compared to Prague, which was my home for a while
@@ceskapohadka I was surprised at how much more rural Czechs were much more sophisticated than the rural folk in the US, who are poorly educated. CZ has a great education system, and was proud I was able to teach in that system
Dude I dont just like it here, I love it. You're rocking a sick background!!! I grew up on all that, capcom, marvel, street fighter, anything arcade, thats were I really grew up, at the arcade :))) Thanks for watching, have an awesome 2024!
The royals were ballin way too hard hence why they are no longer with us, I love how excited you are for something so ordinary to me, glad Moravia is treating you great, I agree it can be heavenly in the summer. Pozdrav z Prazsky Dzungle nebo tak neco.
@@ceskapohadka I love ur search for ceska pohadka, in my circle it means made up story that has hard drugs involved. But I guess that is given since where I used to live it’s much less cozy, if you wanna see a polar opposite I suggest you visit Karlovarsky/Ustecky kraj. Rovna u Sokolova is where my French teacher would take his friends when they would come over for a visit.
@@LeonTichy oh OK I didn't know that. That's funny. Kinda reminds me of that old Czech song, something like "rekny kde ty kytky jsou" forget who sings that but it reminds me of the same thing :))) I'm gonna write these streets down and if I'm ever around that area I'll check it out, help me wake up from this dream. :)))
cheers, the trees along the way (besides the shade and overall cuteness) were planted from 17 hundreds when the draft (national army) were established. The soldiers who survived their duty were released when the trees were giving fruit so that the soldiers had something to munch on on their way back.
Repka is rapeseed in English. It is used to make canola oil and is grown all over Europe. Some people are quite allergic to the pollen and are just miserable when it is in bloom, despite its pretty appearance. How on earth did you end up in CR? I will always regret that my parents emigrated to the US when I was 11, but I understand why they felt they had to do it at the time. The happiest part of my life was my childhood in CR. I have never recaptured the feeling, although I have come closer since leaving the States 5 years ago and moving to northern England.
One detail: I believe the fruit trees by the roads were good for all travellers, I heard that when the enlightened Habsburgs started to build infrastructure to keep up with France, Prussia & co, the fruit trees were supposed to offer shade and food for marching armies. Generally: As a Czech, it will never stop shock me when people find CZ life good. Great video, you have my subscription.
I mean how cool was it to put fruit trees like that along the road, they should be everywhere. :))) make it the law :))) Yeah Czechs don't know how good it is here. I just wish Czechs kept the tatra mountains. 🤣 I vote take it back. :))) Super blessed to live here. Thanks for watching & subscribing!
For sure! It's probably going to be hard getting the proper documents to move here first, but once you pass that hurdle, you are free to do what you want. Make it happen!!!
Yellowish flower is mustard seed? Just i sowed before two days just winter started in Gujarat India...most welcome our farm if anybody want to come. Thanks
As somebody pointed out, you don't ask random people how are they doing. You say "zdravíčko" (semi-informal good day) and "děkuju, nashle" (thanks- if appropriate- and goodbye). Stranger asking you "how are you" is indeed bit strange to average czech person. You can do some polite small talk or joke a bit with cashiers and such if situation is right, but "how are you" is not it. They are dealing with people all day, how do you think they are doing?
They have some cool, laid back pubs. I met Austrians in this one bar on the border. One Austrian was disgusted with Austria, said they were a bunch of “sick farmers “ another way of saying “redneck”
Now that is a question :))) What are you demons he/she says :))) Im the demon and i need to be locked in a cage and never let out :))) I hear you loud and clear, more JC videos :))) Yeah I grow up in the states, my parents are czech. So I flew over here a couple years ago to see where my parents were from and I just ended up staying. Thanks for watching!!!
They are no longer buying gas from Russia, so, of course, the prices are going up. The EU is getting poorer and poorer while the US economy is growing. Task accomplished.
@@ceskapohadka I am glad you moved; my son is thinking of leaving the US as well in a few years. There is too much going on here that can no longer be tolerated.
@@ceskapohadkaI was born an raised in the tri state area between the outer boros of nyc and central NJ .. I also have UK citizenship via applying thru my parents bein UK nationals .. ive been living in the UK and checking out various parts of europe over the last few years ... As of the last 3 yrs my partner who is czech and I have been throwing around the idea of relocating to CZ as well. Its kinda funny as im 35 and have worked in IT as a DBA and more recently workin as an azure/aws enginner in remote contract roles, which has been really nice and flexible. My question for you is if you are working in IT for a czech firm or even a multi national company ... has the irs followed up with you? Cause once i began working and opened a uk bank account, i got a kinda creepy letter from uncle sam askin me to essentially confirm that i spend more than half of my year in the UK.. and if not then id be on the hook for US income tax on earnings from work from UK role ... there was also other caveats such as, the irs will give some concessions if the nation ur living/workin in has a higher tax rate
