First of all, I'm coming there, no curves, no bends. I'm coming straight there. I'm not even looking side ways. I'm coming right here. The mountains, and Grand Canyon-esque beauty, echoes to my heart. Everything looks like it's from another time frame - another dimension ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
@Damaris Njenga, I would like to meet you when you get back to Nairobi. I am an Ethiopian, but I live and work in Kenya. I came to Kenya for studies in 1993, most probably before you were born.
Thank you for sharing this kind of lifestyle in Ethiopia. That's why Ethiopia is building the Nile dam so those people can have electricity. It's adventures for you, but it is also beneficial to show the world how 75% of Ethiopians are leaving a harsh life like this while the Nile river is benefiting neighboring countries. Thanks again.
Wow I love this video thank you for sharing your experience!!! You're the only African girl I know going different country in remote area to visit most of us going only in the city good job you are my inspiration!! Have a wonderful time and God keep you safe everywhere you go!!!
Okay you DAMARIS NJENGA YOU STOLE MY HEART ❤️. I AM FROM ETHIOPIA I HAVE BEEN OUT FROM ETHIOPIA OVER 30 years and I missed all those villages. Thanks 🙏 so much for sharing this wonderful journey of yours. I believe you are going to be very successful. Good job 👍 girl.

I truly appreciate your offer to gain a glimpse into the other Ethiopa that you never get to see on western media and I enjoy every second of it. Much love to you, your family 🇰🇪 and 🇪🇹 keep walking and stay safe!
Of course I would! I like what I'm seeing, behind you, in the thumbnail. New experiences are the best, and that mountain village, is a place where you can find peace, kindness, and your self♥️♥️
Demaris As an African good neighbor I enjoyed watching and listening to your thoughts back to where most our people live and where we and ancestors are from. The basic necessities if electric city, running water, internet will soon be there but taking care of this natural scenery will remain for us and the generation s to come. I am an Ethiopian in America who ran in college and when I heard you struggling to walk in this high altitude reminded me the great Kenyan runners who duel with their Ethiopian counterparts around the world. Enjoy your stay.
Most people wouldn't even walk a mile on a flat surface...this im hats off for you 💪😀 things like this gives one perspective and courage and strength. Endelea kugrow 🙏
I took my family to Arba Minch Ethiopia in Dec 2019. We then went up into the mountains to live amongst the Dorze people for 4 days. We want to return soon.
Damaris, you're so funny... I used to be addicted to walking.🤣 In Jamaica; I walked eleven miles to school sometimes. Whenever I didn't have money; or for some reason, I missed the bus.🧡💚🧡🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
