I believe it would be helpful to highlight some of the benefits of living in Tucson. As a resident of Phoenix, I've noticed a prevailing sense of superiority that often overlooks the great things Tucson has to offer. For instance, attractions like Gates Pass, Kitt Peak Observatory, Sonoran Desert Museum, Old Tucson Studios, Biosphere 2, Rose Canyon Lake, Picture Rocks, Colossal Cave, Madera Canyon, Pima Air Museum, Titan Missile Museum, and San Xavier Mission are worth mentioning. Additionally, Reid Park Zoo and Flandrau Planetarium are great attractions, along with the delicious Sonoran Mexican cuisine that's unique to the area. These would be great to mention as you work your way around the city map. Other activities like the Tucson Walking Food Tour the Guided 2-Hour Horseback Ride at Catalina State Park and the Gem and Mineral Show offer great experiences as well. It's also worth noting that Tucson strives to conserve water through desert landscaping, utilizing the melting snow on the surrounding mountains to recharge the water table, I believe. I'm eagerly anticipating your next video - keep up the excellent work!

I'm looking for a certain home. I have a photo of it. 4+ SQ Ft. Wrap around porch, green roof, 3dormers, shows some mountain in back ground. Have you seen it? Ring a bell? It was in a magazine show case back in 1994ish

Great job! My wife and I owned property and lived full time in Tucson for years, leaving in mid-2022. You did a great job explaining Tucson. My wife especially loved how you showed the realities of each area. We lived on N 4th Ave, just north of Speedway, so we had easy access be walking and bike to Downtown. Loved your explanation of the street car tracks and your bicycle encounter. The tracks got me once too, when a COT truck parked illegally at the curb decided to pull out into me as i rode by on my bicycle just south of University. Put me into the tracks and splat. We did love the bike trails, The Loop and the Aviation trail that took us down to the airbase.

Perfect if someone with a serious drinking problem needs help finding a home. Complete with the expense for getting home when you overindulge. Very different tour than others I've seen. All about the alcohol.

Hey Alan! Thanks for the comment! Although I am a little bit confused. Are you saying I mentioned alcohol too much for your liking? I did a CTRL + F of my transcript and I mention alcohol just twice, both in the same minute. 32:12 In the other 37 minutes of this tour, I talk about most up to date information on prices, traffic, commute, distance from Phoenix, coffee shops, golf courses, etc. If I missed your point and this was not your intention of your comment, let me know! @@LivingTucsonArizona Hey, I have no problem with alcohol. But this video has a lot of commentary on bars and drinking, not just a couple mentions. You get all excited by a Whole Foods with a bar even. I think a video specific to bars would be a great idea...you have a lot of information. But maybe in a general get acquainted video,...I noticed it came around more than in other ones introducing Tucson. Obviously,, you covered a lot of other stuff, too. I moved here 5 years ago and I watch some of these to help learn about this city. It's a lot of work to edit these things, gather all the shots. I'm happy in my west side foothills home so not likely to move, but perhaps a friend will decide to come this way and be looking. Appreciate your work.

Can you hear the train everywhere in Tucson at night?

No you can't! I never heard it when I lived in Tanque Verde. My friends in Vail DEFINITELY hear it. Some say they've gotten used to it. I rarely hear it in Marana - it's more like a low humming noise. They don't allow the "horns?" to go off - they have a quiet zone for Marana, fortunately.
