Thank goodness someone else is saying that! I keep warning about using the tip of the chainsaw bar, and how dangerous it is, as well as inefficient and causing stress on the bar connection. 99% of people making these survival channels in Vietnam use the saw this way, moving it back and forth at the tip. Look at the paint wear on the bar! The saw has never been used safely our correctly!

Xero. Give been trying to tell Ana how to use her power saw, maintain it, file the teeth of the chain, how to stop revving the engine which has discolored the and it's now blowing smoke and leaking. I don't think anyone has given her instructions? She's not going to have that saw long. It needs a complete overhaul. She got that saw through people's generosity and it's not fair to them that she does not maintain or run it properly. My hubby and I had many chain saws that were used much the same as you mentioned. We know how to maintain them and keep them running as they should. I don't think she likes anyone giving her well meaning suggestions. I know I certainly won't. I am also a dog lover and owner and have tried to give her nite of info on feeding her dogs and them having good beds to lay on. People are asked for money to help her along her way to building etc and she should be spending it wisely. I shan't be. Maybe you can get thru to her better than I did? I will say, she is a worker and a pretty good one especially considering the lack of tools etc. It's really quite amazing what she accomplishes. I can't believes she doesn't hurt herself welding those knives, hammers and that chain saw, all with flip flops on her tiny feet!? It's amazing. But. She does have help. There are some things she just cannot do herself. Have a great day.

@@olivebaker4340 No one has the right to tell Ana what to do other than Ana herself. If a person is to learn, they must first make mistakes. Try to be a little less judgmental and a little more patient. She will get there.
