LIVING on INDONESIAN FOOD for 24 HOURS in BALI! 

me and my family once got saved by a local balinese people at night. We're looking for a tourist site but got lost. We're lost at a very quite and dark area, almost like a woods. Then we saw a quite big house with large terrace, asked the owner if we can park our car just for a night but they offered us to sleep in their house! they got sepparated mini house inside and let us to stay. Even they got us foods, the nicest people.

balinese people are one of the friendliest and kindest people ever! had a great time visiting Bali before and was really impressed by their hospitality. Shame some tourists do not appreciate Bali for the place it is. Another great video Bobby!

Bobby.. Long time watcher, first time commenting. I’m Australian and have been to Bali before. Mann.. There’s no need to talk to them like they won’t understand. Most of the Balinese particularly the working ones in street shops will speak of understand English pretty well. They deal with us Aussies/English/westerners coming around and speaking plain English to them, all year round and can easily understand and work out what is being said. No need to look or sound like they won’t understand your American English. Also.. Bali is Bali, the food.. No matter where you go is going to be genuine, localised Bali food. Cooked, prepared and made fresh in any street side restaurant as if it was their home cooking. And it’s cheap! Also hit up the local markets. I went to a local night market where you can try Balinese food for extremely cheap.

Money value is soo low there 😩 but look at those human beings 😍 Priceless heart to love others.

Bali is one of a kind and wonderful region in Indonesia. But I suggest you to come to "Yogyakarta". There are lots of tasty food yet cheap

People from Bali are way too nice, if you ask to pay them they will always say no.

I’ve realized that other cultures are so much more generous and all around well rounded good people.

The Balinese people and people of Flores were some of the nicest people I have ever met. I would have moved to Flores if it weren't the only place in the world so far where I suddenly develop allergies to something airborne on the island. My nose was running non-stop! As soon as i got off the island, the allergies were gone again. I still have no idea what that island has that Bali does not... I may move to Bali one day, but locals said it's getting over crowded.

I am Balinese living in Australia now - working. Financially, I earn money a way lot more here in Australia than in Bali. While my friends from other countries are seeking for PR (permanent residence) or even citizenships, I am still with my decision. I will never ever changes my nationality because there is something that make me love Bali. And.. i am proud calling this place as my home sweet home.

Thats typical indonesians wherever you go, the local will give you anything especialy people in rural areas. They are the most humble.

The Balinese people are absolutely friendly, and kind. We stayed at one place and they had a festival going on during the time we were staying. The owners offered us if we wanted to join the parade we could and they'd provide outfits are us as well. I was very bummed out we came back very late from our day out and we missed it all.

That's what I hated about ubud too. The local Balinese food was catered to westerners and so were the prices. But a guide took me maybe 20 mins our of ubud and I saw lots of street food, warungs and cheap Indonesian local food.

Galungan and Kuningan ceremony will be held every six months. Lots of restaurants are close. But if you happen to go to Bali by the moment, which you did, you can find foods in Denpasar since lots of non Balinese people resides in the city. I used to enjoy my evening in Tukad Badung ( next to Kumbasari Market ) in the old town of Denpasar while sipping my cendol drink. Cendol drink cost 5000 rupiahs. And have a 1 dollar nasi bebek ( duck rice ) not far from the market.

Maybe if you want to go to the local village you should go to unusual place in bali, so you can see many street foods there or maybe just go to Denpasar city, I live there and everything is cheap there
