One of the things I liked about my 1971 VW Beatle was, when the battery was dead, I could just push it a bit, then jump in and raise the clutch to start the engine. And I remember how I loved the sound of rain on the thin metal roof. God bless you, Rodrigo!! 💛🙏🏽
Our family had several beetles. I learned on an automatic one. Then got to drive my moms 73 super beetle. Little wing windows for AC on my rides to Tybee Island Ga.
Bro that engine has been pumped up it sounds like a 2 liter. Did you do something with the cam the heads or pistons??? That motor sounds like you can load it down and take it anywhere!!!! 😎😎😎😎
Muchas gracias ;)
Yes, bless you Rodrigo. You live out our VW beetle excursion outback wilderness adventures for us that we can imagine we are right there doing all these super fun things in our most favorite machine. You have rekindled my desire to make the Baja Calif Sur Journey in a VW beetle.
Remove the passenger seat, make a platform, store stuff under the platform or in the space behind the driver seat, sleep on the platform...safer, no problems with rain, no need for a tent. That's the way they did it in the old days back in Europe ( and me too!).
@@RodrigoKaspary now my bug retired already.the parts are difficult to find.i now have toyota wigo manual, 1.0 which as small as the bug and also fuel efficient.
I also camped in a VW bug but where do you sleep ? Mine was set up differently as I had my bed in the back and I cooked in the front area. Never say your vehicle is too small for camping. Now I camp in a 2012 Prius. Very comfortable.
I purchased one of those tea drinking kits because of you. My cup holds 12oz though. My stainless steel straw has a purple bead. I hope Rosa Monte is a good brand. Rechere bombilla with a purple bead to try my first drink of Yerba Mate tea.
Holly cow, that is the strongest tea flavor I have ever experienced . It stays hot for a long time too. Time for another cup. Generally I drink black tea because it’s better than green and white tea is expensive and hard to come by.
I don’t know you Rodrigo. But I have to say whatever you do is so inspiring and amazing. But I was wondering where do you get the food from. Is there a grocery nearby
Fantastic video! You have proven that less is definitely more for a solo camper, and that it can be done splendidly. Could you elaborate on your Bug? Any modifications to the suspension or engine? Or completely Stock? I hit Subscribe right away! 🖖🙂🇺🇸
The only 'uplgrade' was the rear torsion bars to lift the rear end of the car to carry the bike. I realised that without the bike, the bug has way more confort to drive with the rear lifted :)
Tapioca is made from cassava starch that is heated in a frying pan and melts a little, forming a shell that can be used as a crepe. The main macronutrient present in tapioca is carbohydrate.
I'd love a bug camper setup (long term living) but i have a 60lb dog so that makes things complicated. I have a 64 baja bug but yeah, that would be very difficult with her. But she's important to me so she takes priority.
You sure have your share of rain, right? There you go, getting all the best stuff. Especially the sweets. Nice fresh fruit, hand picked, nice! Landscape is so interesting. You must be going close to the mountains. I’m jealous of you, in a good way. Are you going to be using the Volkswagen from now on? See you on your next adventure 💕
