I'm Sorry. Even though the car did not see me and "pushed me out", I did have enough time to hit the brakes. I misjudged the situation. Also too much Touristenfahrten driving made me forgot how to flash others out of "respect".
It wasn’t on you at all Misha, you did amazing and everything you could have, it’s racing I guess and super unfortunate): absolutely gutted for you. But we’re all glad you’re okay and you got straight back in that car 💪💪 ❤️ love you
Respect for saying sorry, but I think you did well enough. As a team you all had good pace, the car worked well, and this was only the first big event. It's only going to get better from here, I think you three have a good chance of getting on the podium soon!
The German commentators during the 12 hours called you “James Broadbent” multiple times and it didn’t register with me for a long time that they meant you. Keep up the great work.
the english language phenomenon of not only making nicknames that don't at all look like their source names but also then using said nicknames like they were regular names will never not throw me off
Jimmer sounding like a wedding DJ whilst trying to talk us round the nordschliefe. Making what is a very fast and difficult circuit look straightforward is no mean feat.
Who would’ve thought that a silly British boi who would play GT3 from his trusty shed would end up racing everywhere, now including the Nürburgring? Seriously, though. I’m so glad I subscribed during those shed days to see this transformation happen; it’s a huge source of inspiration and motivation. ❤
So freaking proud of you Jimmer! You guys did amazing! Thanks so much for all the smiles you've brought me and many others over the years. You may have not finished first in the race, but you'll always be first in our hearts! Enjoy it, you've earned it.
Well, this video explains the dimples I saw on the rear of the Bilstein car in Steve's video. Glad it wasn't too serious and everyone was okay. Keep livin the dream!
glad misha's little spin wasn't anything bad and both he and the car are alright. honestly his days on the track during open driving probably saved him there
Been with you since the days of the shed and no idea of IRL racing. I'm freaking out seeing you out there Jimmer, and it better give you as much happiness as your videos have done for me over the years. Go get 'em man
I honestly cant say Ive been waiting for this moment for the last five years because I could never have imagined this happening back then. What a crazy roller coaster its been!
First race I watched from start to finish in ages. I am very happy for you guys and I feel like you all did a great job. There were some sick overtakes and laptimes in this. Well done
I am so frick frackin proud of you Jimmer! From the shed to the ring. it's amazing to see your achievements and enjoy your experiences vicariously like this. I'm so damn excited for what the future holds and I can't wait to see more! LUBBERS!
Great experience Jimmy. A handful of years ago you were throwing sim-cars around that circuit with regularity.. and here you are man, doing it in the real world. Kudos.
Amazing seeing you guys race! So Jimmy is out there talking to him self while driving😂 Those sim racing habits won't go away easily. You need a chat screen in the car!
awesome job at the Nurburgring 12hr. You guys done a fantastic job for your 1st race. 5th place in class and 48th overall. Hope to see you guys in the 24hr next year.
This is a nice new concept for Racing Sim Stewards, really deep diving into one incident and get in the mind of the driver! I like it! And this new sim looks insane! the graphics are really next level.
During this years 24h NBR i sat at the Dunlop Corner on the GP Track and there was this blue porsche gt4 just sending it into the code 60 zone. The team got a major penalty and the driver got his NBR permit taken away the same day.
Loved the helmet cam even though it was a touch low, also, you mentioned that you were trying to work on that footage. I used to do onboard cameras for TV. If you're keen for some assistance, I dont live too far from the Nurburgring... I'm sure we could figure something out
Jimmy, get a 3.5mm adapter for your gopro and mount a lav mic inside the helmet. I used to do helmet cam commentary on a straight piped dirt bike without any issue hearing me talking.
Good on ya Jimmer! It must feel surreal but you put the effort in and earned it. One day I will do a lap on the Nurburgring, alas on a touristfarhen but I will get there one day!
Henlo Jimmy, great racing there :) So, I was wondering, if is not too much to ask, could you show more of the behind the scenes 🥺? Things like, how do you get to the pits the first time, or how the car gets there, the first outlap, the registration process if there is one. I dont know if I'm alone in this, but i would like to know how is to be a part of that world. If you think that it brings value to the video (and is not too much work) i would really appreciate it. Me and all of the likers in this comment :D (narrator: nobody liked)
BroadbentExcitement !! Even after a small incident with light damage(rear)by Misha which was not his fault, undercut by another driver. You drove the car given as is, driving like a Professional you are started slow figuring the handling and feel aspects of the Bilstein BMW, Hammering down Speed(well not at full potential)here n there Yellow flags also with 100+ other drivers on the Nordschleife aka "the Green Hell". Extremely MINDBOGGLING my Man!! There was Taste of Epic GetRDone ! Driving Skills and Focus !! by U that I Enjoyed. Mahalo on Sharing !! can't wait for the Real Deal "Green Hell" Race next week. ;o) 💪💪🤙🤙
Its difficult for much slower cars if the passing on the left rule does not apply (which i presume it doesn't in a race like this?). Just a racing incident woth no one to really blame it looks like.
I just want to comment on 2 things. Good driving, I noticed when you went a little pass μ peak, your steering corrections were precise and quick @21:15. The 2nd thing is... whoever built the car needs to finish it. The overlay data is all wonky, throttle is not right, brake read is not eight either, the G meter is on Crack! Jumping all over the place probably because the GPS antenna is mounted on the dashboard picking up all vibrations, AND @20:09 the suspension is way too stiff, if you can get over the curbs you need to you'll leave time on the table... oh, last thing - a rookie mistake by the other driver, he got into a split μ conditions, and the timing and amount of correction was all wrong..
you cant be monstering the curbs like that dude. you'll hurt the car and fuck your alignment (at the least) doing that for 24 hours. great vid, thanks jimmers!!!!
