moe Harden it means surprise surprise people have awful taste lol... I was a freckled fair skinned little suburban white girl when I watched this too. Anyways, it’s Seinfeld thats the good show in the end above all else
@@blueocean1424 I have to agree with you on that comment my friend 👋 💯 percent true!!!! I loved this show, especially when Maxine would diss the hell out of Kyle!!!😁😁😁😁 LMFAO 😂!!! Remember the episode with the late Heavy D in it? What the hell did he see in Ragine, with those trademark wigs of hers!!!! She got on my last nerve 😒😒. LOL!!!! Take care of yourself and your family during this coronovirus pandemic 😷 ok. Peace out from Bunn NC.👋💖💖😊. Be blessed and safe ok 🙏!!
This was the era when the theme song of a show was as important as the show content itself. Living Single, Moesha, A Different World, Hangin with Mr. Cooper, and The Fresh Prince all had FIRE theme songs! The theme songs used to actually get you excited for the show! It will never be an era like the 80s/90s again.
That NYC backdrop while Big Lez is dancing makes me miss the 90's NYC so much. That 90's NY vibe is something that will never be replicated. I remember when I was 11-14 years old during that time and I would travel alone from the Bronx to Washington Sqaure Park in The Village. My point is every time I here the Living Single theme I reminisce when I would walk those 90's NY streets. I only wish I was a few years older at the time. You had to be there understand where I'm coming from. NYC was different!
The 90s was the shit.i wish I was an adult at that time to really appreciate and know what it was like in that era.just watching 90s tv shows, music videos, movies ect, make me think about how much fun it would have been to grow up in that era.
Who’s here after the whole Twitter outrage about David Schwimmer requesting an all-black version of Friends like he don’t know that their all-white Friends TV show is a copy of the all-black TV show Living Single 🙄
This theme song hits a soft spot in your heart 💛 Brings back peace, love & happiness. Although I was born in the 90’s (1991) I remember a lot of things especially my parents being baby boomers (real old schoolers). Memories of my oldest brother coming to visit home from the military and watching living color with our dad , bill cosby , fresh prince of bel air , etc etc . I remember this very well. My experience was definitely unique.
The nostalgia. 😭 if everything could go back to the way it was in the 90s and early 2000s. I swear. But I understand that things must change. I swear life growing up in the 90s and 2000s as a kid was everything.
Man the living single theme song is one that I will never get tired of. Just a good show all around from the acting and music involved ,real life situations just pure gold ! 💕
I swear I've heard this song before back when I was much younger, gives me a nostalgic vibe like how the Martin theme song does along with a couple of other sitcom themes. Sounds pretty nice, definitely have not heard it in a long time since my memory's a bit fuzzy towards it. Oddly, this video is the only high quality version I've seen, all the other ones look like they were recorded with phones.
I remember as a kid, didn't have but 4 or 5 channels that picked up. UPN was the station I always tuned into at 6pm started with living color, Martin, Sanford and Son...i would watch it until my bedtime which was at 9pm. Loved all the shows and would love to relive those times.
Grew up with such great 90's black sitcoms like Living Single, Roc, The Steve Harvey Show, In The House, Martin, Fresh Prince, Moesha, The Parkers, The Jamie Foxx Show, Smart Guy, The Wayans Bros etc. just a special time. Also a time where they actually put some stuff into a theme song instead of a two second title card or some half assed generic "theme".
I was born in 95 and I love all the good sitcoms like Martin, fresh prince, sister sister and Living single. Maaan I wish I was a 20 something in the 90s
This is a theme song you can play in the house while cleaning up and dance to LOL you can even play it in your car riding down the street how banging this beat is LOL
Along with Martin, Married with Children, In Living Color, A Different World, Fresh Prince, Roseanne, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, Roc, New York Undercover, NYPD Blue, The Steve Harvey Show, The Jamie Foxx Show, Home Improvement etc.
I'm one of those people who was a teenager in the 90's and never left and remained loyal to the 90's. The TV shows, the movies and the music still haven't been matched by anything else. People were original back then, now all we got is manufactured entertainment these days.
Lol, growing up everyone thought that was Max dancing and Synclaire at the end of the episode saying "WooHoo!" an laughing LMAOO those were the days...
Born '91 I remember my mom watching this in the living room heard the song and I was in my room and sang it glue its act like glue my mom would burst put laughing
Oh my god.. i remember my mom would be watching this whenever i was out of school. The intro has stuck with me ever since and watch some of it and loved it
lol this shit slap....I always thought that was maxine dancing....I miss these times man when me and my parents and siblings were all young....had no worries but school work.lol..aahh good times..
I’m 12 rn and I love this show sm I got it from the library and was like WOW and my mom was soo happy that I got she was like “awww I used to love that show back then” she was like it came out in the 90’s and I was like awwww I watched basically everyone already I wish they still played 😭😀
Can't believe I stopped watching this in 2003 when I was in 5th grade. Back in those days, there were so many things to do without a cell phone n being a kid, I actually looked up to being an adult having a family 1 day n doin fun stuff.
Where has the time went!!?? #DAMN Hit different when u was young watching it til now 2020......Fux it I'm still LIVING SINGLE FUX 🤣🤣🤣🤣Take me bacc lmao!
