This style of stone castles are common in India and South Asia, and its history is something to learn more about. Please don't assume that this is a Khmer castle. because there is no definite conclusion
@@parunp3213this is definitely Khmer lol. This is all former Angkor empire. We can read the writings on the wall. The name Phanom Rung means “Hard Mountain” or volcano. There’s also a huge population of Khmer ppl who live in this area still. Also this is the miniature temple to the bigger Angkor in Cambodia.
Beautiful vlog. Thanks for visiting us in the farm. 🙏🌿🌳 Otis say Hi to uncle Paddy :) He watched to whole vlog and laughed so loud , at the end he say baby pig not like uncle paddy lol 😂😂
You guys make me cryyyy ❤️ what a lovely episode at the Naked Guru's place,Ryan and family are living the best life with simplicity, really in touch with mother nature, really awsome human beings .Thanks Paddy for letting us come with you 🙏🌺
Oh, Paddy, this episode makes me so happy! We watch Ryan and his family as well, and love their sweet home life. Husband and I are so happy for YOU, that all of you had this opportunity to meet, and that our favourite (exhausted) road warrior, (that's you, dearheart) could spend some time, working hard and resting gentle. Happy Holidays from our home, to you, Ryan and his fam, and the entire Nation of Thailand. Stay safe, stay healthy! XO ❤🙏🎄🌏
Beautiful segment. I have lived in rural Isaan the past three years and love the quiet countryside. It is a region of Thailand that is totally misunderstood or misrepresented. ( And the province cities have totally changed the past 17 years since I lived near BKK. )
I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS A MILLION LIKES😍 It's so heartwarming to see how Buriram is now and see all the places I used to go to when I was a kid. Thank you for visiting, this means so much to me. Thank you for doing what you do and doing what you love, and thank you for taking us on this journey with you - through the ups and downs, we feel as if we are right there with you ☺
When I went to those ruins a few years ago, my reaction was much the same as yours, “how is it that nobody knows about this?!”. I really enjoyed exploring it and it continues to be a great memory of Buriram.
Really nice seen both of you meet each other. Feel little sorry we didn't get more of your conversations in between you and live experience in Thailand. Living here over 30 years I've never regret it to move into the country side living with locals as a farmer, even it is sometimes hard, especially earning income and survive. Its a pleasure to follow both of your channels and the reason is very simple. Respectful natural human behaviour. Keep going.... Best wishes to all of you. Greetings from NST
Excellent video. I really admire both of you.....there's an authenticity and willingness to be yourselves which I find very intriguing. The fact that you both took a big risk to follow your paths is also very admirable. Keep up the good work fellas!

The Thai football is taking a break due to the ongoing ASEAN biggest football tournament called Suzuki Cup, hosted by Singapore. Now is the semi-final stage Spore Vs Indonesia Thailand Vs Vietnam
I found you through Naked Guru. Been a subscriber of Ryan for more than a year. I love their channel cause they are just so real. Love them. Happy you visiting them😃♥️
So nice seeing you Totally relaxed Paddy ,i also watched a few (not many ) of Ryan and his lovely family vlogs .What a lovely relaxing way of life if you have the right women and know or willing to fully engross yourself in the Thai way of living out in the sticks ❤️🙏
I’ve been dying to watch this vlog and LOVE IT Paddy!!! This is totally an awesome video and great to see you finally making it to Ryan’s place! I enjoyed watching your interactions together & seeing you working on the farm! (Ryan seems like a wonderful person, not just from watching him on his channel, but in person) So funny watching you trying to feed 🐖 the piglet….so cute adorable❤️ The hotel/cafe you stayed at looks awesome & you can’t beat the price! Thanks for sharing this long awaited video 🙏 And I hope that you two will meet again 😊
l loved the video and watching you chill on the farm with Ryan and his wonderful family. You and Ryan are my favourites to watch as you are both very much down to Earth and tell it like it is which is so refreshing now on RU-vid. Keep up the journey, you will go far
I am so happy being able to watch this video, Paddy! Two of my favorite youtubers meeting and we can watch these two crossover episodes, on your channel and on Ryan's. I couldn't live the life Ryan has chosen, but every time I look at one of his videos, it's as if he sent me a little bit of his happiness in living.
That was a great vlog.....Ryan and his family come across as such wonderful people to know. I love watching Ryan's vlogs. Thank you for a great vlog Jeff
Good to see you are enjoying Issan now Paddy. Ryan's a good guy. I am an avid watcher of his channel as well. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year mate.
Very wonderful!!! Besides that you visited Khao Phanom Rung (the people shurely told you, that the sunlight goes through the maindoors on three days in the year). And very beautiful the peace of the rural life: relaxing impressions. You are like a Monet in video.
I just arrived from Toronto with my wife and now we are at her home in Prawet, Bangkok. We are so jet-lagged that we keep crashing throughout the day. It's just past 17:00. While Aoy sleeps, I cracked a cold Chang and I am now enjoying your trilogy before I probably crash again. When I was a boy, I grew up in a rural area and worked on the surrounding farms picking fruit, caring for horses, drinking freshly squeezed milk from the bucket. Moving to the city at age 16 was a shock with the city youth and gangs. So yes, my heart remains in those rural days. Thank you for a great video and thank you to The Naked Guru and family for being so accommodating. What a great way to weather out the jet lag. Coincidentally, we are here on a mission to invest in farmland in the Hua Hin area, so I will be sure to subscribe to The Naked Guru channel. Rock on, Paddy Doyle. dcb
I watch him too at times. His video at getting freaked out and having to leave his family for a couple of days to save his mental health was pretty awesome. Obviously a very decent guy.
So much to comment on but I think the best part was that you bought your drone and we could see the Guru's family and home from above. And unike many others, we see how much the same.we all are.
I’m used to seeing you travel, so to see you visit Ryan in his little shire was such a contrast, I know from experience about the blisters, isaan work not easy, It’s good he took you to meet Kun Pa also, I’m a subscriber now, Naked Guru is my fave channel.
This is a good clip. It's soothing. Thailand countryside is beautiful and amazing. You can live a quality, simple, and peaceful life there. It does not take to be a millionare to have that kind of happiness. Being rich does not guarantee that. Thanks for posting.
You are making my heart so happy with this video ,my mom is from buriram but i life in holland ,ive been to buriram 2 times last time 11 years ago, 20 years old now ,but really wanting to go back, i dont recall how the village is called where my mom came from ,i just know there was a temple nearby with a dead goat with 2 heads.
Im from buriram but moved to vietnam. I forgot what it was like living in rural life. I clearly forgot much of my language (Kuy, Khmer, and Khmer krom) but when I came back, I met with my grandfather who is now a monk and taught me khmer
Haha! i know Ryan, he had live music bar in Hua Hin, we played couple of times together at his bar, he plays saxophone. i'm guitarist. nice to see that he is happy with new country life. Say my regards to him.
Cracking Vlog this week Paddy and that Guru chap seems like he has the perfect life. I loved the look of that coffee shop with accommodation, is the link included?
This was great Paddy I really liked seeing you two on the same show for once, as I follow you both.... as do many others here obviously. I loved the montage he did in your honour of you, I thought he shone a warm light on your bright soul that reflected very nicely about you, your journey and doings, and that was great. You deserved it ! Made me laughto hear you talking about how intimate it was to be there and getting down and dirty... as the two of you are in the hot tub cleaning up ... 5555 Good on you, love your work mate. Keep those wheels rolling and keep those stories coming. Stay well.
Really buriram is very peaceful place I am from India and I come Thailand many times before But found a girl from buriram and first time I visit here... Such a wonderful place to live ... I am staying with my thai girlfriend at her home in beautiful and peaceful village
Thanks for this great video. I'm following you both for long time and you are so totally different and I couldn't imagine how you work together. Haha in fact you worked together. Serious : you both are so inspiring in different directions and I like them both. Good luck for your trip 👍
I grew up in on a farm in Easter Kansas I can relate to all these vids of rural of Thailand. However I have yet to pet a Water buffalo. Maybe on my Bucket list?
This was a beautiful video, I felt it really showed everything that’s amazing about Thailand. I feel your mental well-being has got to be strong after meeting a fellow Englishman and just having that chance to talk to someone who understands what your going through. You showed family, peace, love, mental health and the beauty of rural Thailand so well in this video. Great job Paddy. Everyday after work, I check RU-vid to see if your videos are up. I hope we get to know what your plans are for Christmas in the next coming video and I hope it’s full of festive spirit and happiness 😊
"From Little Things, Big Things Grow". Going/Gone to Phimai castle in Korat? Good Coffee shop outdoors near castle at former camera and photocopy store. Mr. Paul diversified and always very helpful with tourists. I was a Peace Corps volunteer there many moons ago. Cheers Sir Paddy Doyle, enjoy the Kingdom and carry on🌄
Wuya = cow, Guwhy = buffalo. having grown up & worked on a large Canadian Dairy farm ... I have never regretted leaving it 57 years ago. The work graft & enormous amounts of cow shit was just too much for me to appreciate! I used to take my Thai GF's family for BBQ Dinner every 2 weeks or so in Bang Dung, Issan, Thailand 2010 t0 2012.
I absolutely LOVE this video! I have also been following the Naked Guru for a while and such a great channel he has! The buildings and the farm are so cool....And (of course) I also have a serious thing for water buffalo 555 Fantastic! Kudos to both you AND the guru!
