Bro Zven is just so good in interviews I can't believe it. I normally watch these in batches where I get bored and leave then come back later, but Zven is just too cracked and has so much worth saying and is willing to explain so much
what an experience it must had been for him. Being 17 years old and being thrown in a team with xPeke and sOAz, 2 of the biggest, if not the biggest legends in EU back then, plus peke was a party monster, I'm sure he had a fucking blast
Hearing Zvens ‘Origen’ story was kind of poetic. Of how that was the team and project that got him to his turning point from rookie to pro. I became a fan of Zven when he joined G2 and been following/supporting him since then. He was also the first pro I ever got a picture with. Glad he’s still around and always wishing the best for him!
Can't wait to watch the whole thing, Zven had a great and long career and even if he retires tomorrow (which doesn't seem like the case) he's one of the west's greats...I'm just sad we never got to see him in EU again
@TophoriMusic summoning insight is rarely grounded in reality... Usually just 2 grown men malding over trivial and insignificant issues. They tend to blow things way out of proportion...that being said, I'm glad that there are a variety of viewpoints and shows that appeal to a wide range of people and their preferences.
That condition she put on him must have been the biggest motivator ever. The “I only have 1 shot at this” mentality + the position he was put it must have been absolutely massive in pushing him forward. You don’t see thus nowadays in NA/EU, Dom constantly mentions how shit conditions were when he played, which was what made the league so much more competitive. If you want to excel in a sport, the biggest motivators are necessity first and genuine passion second. If you have to fight tooth and nail for some extra dollars of income just to survive, you’d be surprised of what you’re able to achieve. Nowadays, it feels like NA and EU pros take the experience for granted, like it’s a job or a chore. They get to play video games at the highest level for a living because they’re THAT talented, but it’s like there is no drive behind them a lot of the times
Idk if Zven needs to hear it or not, but the C9 days + this year with Zven doing content and trying to go back to adc on DIG made him respect him so much as a person. Its clear that he is just bridled with passion after hearing all these stories. I hope Zven gets the most out of his career.
Another absolute banger. I love Sven's take at 32:00 on age not being a difference maker unless you have "a wife or some shit" 😂 Only laughed that hard when Dom and Yamato talked about the impact of team vibes with Inspired. The Sackdown interviews have been amazing please keep them up. And may God bless the Last Free Nation 🫡
My favorite era of LoL esports was probably 2015-2018 or so, it’s so cool to hear Zven give some insight on what his experience was in that time. So cool to look back
@@cremlindor6607 If I could chose I would love to be Upset but as a fan if I could also choose I would choose someone who gives every hour of their life to league to be on the team I am cheering for.
44:28 I think the adjective for spawn here is authoritative. Loving this episode so far, the sack down is exactly the content the scene has been missing
30:00 explaining pulling to a league player XDD. Theres an even funnier lane skip where the support aggros the wave from behind enemy t1 and drags it all the way between your t1 and t2. Dota 2 is such an insane game man. Not to mention all the unique blocks that get discovered and removed is hilarious. Or to try to explain ancient stacking and watching your offlane axe go from 1500 networth to over 3k in the span of 30 seconds.
I think its understandable that people assume when you get older you get worse ,since usually when you get closer to 30 people want to have a family so in return you have less time to play which makes you worse at the game ,obviously that doesn't justify people assuming everyone once they get to 25 is shit ,but is a culmination of factors
