Im 31 years old, and a life long born and raised Canadian. I came across you guys and 3 other channels with dedicated videos of living in Da Nang. I genuinley after watching this, have dedicated my next 5 months to saving, selling and moving there full time, well... 3 months at a time. I have never traveled much in my life, and this place looks simply incredible. E-Visa applied, Safety Wing subscription applied. I am doing this!
Because of the great videos that other RU-vidrs have made about Da Nang, I already planned to come. Watching your video just makes me want to go there even more. I should be there within two months. Keep up the good work.
Just found your channel, great content😊 1st time visitor to Vietnam, been here for 30days on a 30 day Visa😮 Of course I will extend 30 more days, gotta do the border run to Laos! How were you able to get those spectacular DRONE footage, I thought those were basically No Go Zones? What’s your secret(s)😊
We were so pleasantly surprised by Da Nang when we stayed there. It wasn’t part of our original itinerary but we stayed there for a night before a flight to HCMC and loved it! Make sure you check out the seafood restaurants where you can pick your own lobster 🦞. It’s pricey but so good!
That pool looks way too small for Eric😂 one push and reaching the other side... The Da Nang dad joke was a good one ... Beach looks a cool place to hang out... Very nice transparent day in the life this one... Bloopskis at the end🎉...
I love Da Nang, it is such an easy place to live. I lived there for 3 months before COVID-19 hit and stranded me in Thailand while doing a visa run. Ate at Taco Ngon so many times!
Chào mừng những người bạn Gia nả đại đến Việt Nam. Người dân Gia nả đại rất thân thiện và xứng đáng được sinh sống tại Việt Nam. Hãy đưa nhiều người Gia nả đại đến Việt Nam hơn. 😍🥰 Welcome, Canadian friends to Vietnam. Canadian people are very friendly and deserve to be in Vietnam. Please bring more Canadians to Vietnam.
now I finally saw the scene where I met you guys the first time =) Great Video! And I agree it's a bit like PDC without tacos and the crazy nightlife. Next time I'll show you some great Food Places in Da Nang! Safe Travels
I got the NordVPN for 2 years with your discount code which was very much worth it, so thank you! Just a little tip for Canadians though, when you get to the last step of the subscription, it will quote you the final price in CAD (actually confirms), but it is still charged in USD. Still worth it with the discount code though 😉
Great video you guys! We're heading to Da Nang in a few weeks for maybe 3 months, so this was really helpful! We are both Canadians also so we had a couple quick of questions for you about scooter rentals if you have a moment :) I have a motorcycle license from canada and an Intl driving permit aswell, but Canadians still can't legally rent scooters in Vietnam because canada is on the list of countries that did not sign the 1968 Vienna Convention. So we were wondering did you guys transfer your license to a Vietnamese license for your trip, and how/where did you go to do it? And what are some reputable scooter rental companies with insurance coverage? Any info at all would be a big help, Thanks a million!
@@13shawnpaul hi! Sorry for the delay on your question! We actually weren’t aware of that issue with the Vienna Convention and just used our international driving permits in Vietnam. But we were never pulled over so can’t say what would’ve happened if we actually got questioned. Sorry to not be more help! In Da Nang, we rented from a company called “Thanh Cong Motorbike Rental”. They were excellent and have all 5 star reviews. We also made sure our travel medical insurance from SafetyWing (linked in description) covered scooter rentals for any accidents. Hope that helps a little bit!
What a great deal on your place, and Danang looks lovely! When I lived in LA, there was a couple (Vietnamese-American and Mexican American) that opened a Vietnamese/Mexican fusion restaurant. So, so good. Also, I’m with Eric. Maracuya juice is THE best. 😊
39 dollars a night? For how long? If you stayed for a month paying that, you need your heads examining. thats nearly 30 million dong a month. You could get that for around 8 or 9 million dong a month easy for a month stay
I’m so confused. “”It’s a steal”” You’re paying over a $1000. A month… yet you can get a nice studio for around 7 to 9 mil dong a month. unless something drastically changed since I left there 3 months ago.
It’s a steal compared to anywhere else in the world. If we were there for multiple months it wouldn’t be sustainable, but for having what we had and being completely comfortable for that price is definitely a steal. Plus we were only there a week so not paying monthly prices!
I live in Da Nang. $39 for that place is sort of a rip-off to be honest. For that you could live on the beach with free breakfast. And if you planned to stay for 3 months you could live in a whole house for half that price.
WHEN WALKING BY THE BEACH CAN U PLS SHOW BUILDINGS / HOTELS ACROSS T ROAD, SO WE GET AN IDEA & RESEARCH THOSE HOTELS . I'M PLANNING 2 VISIT DA NANG NEXT YEAR FOR COUPLE OF WEEKS , DISABLED CANT WALK MORE THAN 100 MT SO I HAVE TO STAY @ SEASIDE HOTELS. LOVE FRM SYDNEY 🌏🌏🏖
You are basically heading north of Vietnam - (colder part of the country)…which is why you’ll get those fog/mist type of scenery…you’ll be heading toward mountains area of Vietnam.. Danang is part of Central Vietnam..
Why do all these bloggers think you want to watch them eat , brush their teeth and fly on a plane? People watch to see the area see the prices and meet the locals
THERE IS A MID AGE ( 50'S ) CANADIAN COUPLE, THEY SHOWED 1 BRM ACCOMADATION HUNT WITH DETAILS MENU PRICES , WHAT THEY EAT, STREET MARKET FRUIT VEG... PRICES. I FOUND IT HELPFUL. PLANING 2 GO 2 DA NANG NEXT YEAR FOR 2-3 WEEKS. INTERNATIONAL FIRE WORKS JUNE-JULY ITS TO HOT I'LL GO AFTER AUGUST. 🌏🌏🏖
We didn’t rent for a month… we only stayed a week so had to pay nightly rates. Of course you can find cheaper options for monthly rentals but that’s not always possible with our schedule!
Every Danang youtuber speaks on how inexpensive it is and they are all repetitive and boring youtubes. Use your imagination, make a unique video not the same old " I spent only $5. on 3 great meals today.
