Something you may add is a glue stick from a hot glue gun. I keep one in my kit and heat it with a lighter for things that require glue in the field

how exactly do you clean the syringe of glue? seems like a good idea that's never been tested

Tnx for sharing, i do agree on the 'not seeing these enough' as i think this is a pretty essential part of one's total 'kit' (even though in most cases a lot of stays at home, most of the time). What i found somewhat weird is that there isn't a sowing kit in there (be it that you have a needle), to repair clothing and some buttons for shirts and pants, heck even a safety-pin can be a useful fix for a few days. Perhaps this video can give you some other ideas ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C4ehJ6OuUWo.html , i rather like his role so i'm going to copy it, though put the things in that i find useful. Maybe you seen it already, but if not, perhaps it gives you an idea you'll be thankful of on one of your trips.

too much rambling for me,,if your kit breaksdown in the first day then you have not checked it properly to begin with,otherwise just gorrila tape it!
