It's interesting to see more international Tech reviewers are taking India's SE2 pricing into the consideration. At 42500 Indian Rupees its not an easy recommendation.

Nice content, Jaclyn ! And I love the collab - you and Ellie are adorable together. I’m an Android guy, but the SE would be great as secondary or backup device; the smallish battery and display make it a tough sell as a daily driver for those used to larger-screen/battery phones. Plus I often shoot pics in lowlight or at night (pre-COVID anyway), so I’d feel that I’d still have to bring my Pixel with me. It’s fine for iPhone users who are replacing older ones, are light users and/or prefer a smaller device, and don’t care as much about the lack of Night mode.

Here’s a thought. I’m keeping my Xs (Gold 256GB) to use as an iPod! The larger screen is great when I don’t have my iPad Mini 5 handy. However, the SE is perfect for use as a ...phone! AT&T has it for $199!

Great review very well presented I love my SE 2 my old phone was the x iPhone Which was a nice phone but I prefer the smaller phone easier to carry I never find it’s a nuisance in pockets et cetera it’s just very convenient size it’s got all the goodies that I want at a great price

Would it be a good move to go from a pixel 2 to this?

If I wasn't a huge fan of Android, I could see myself trying this out, especially for so little money. In the end though, I'm not an Apple guy, and I'll stick with my Pixel 4 XL. Great collaboration on your review.

For people who want “new with contract” and are attached to the Apple Ecosystem $399 is really as low as you can go especially in you want to “future proof” the A13 is at iPhone 11 flagship spec, meaning it will be supported in terms of iOS upgrades for years to come, heck the 6s and the SE1 (all with the A9 chipset) are STILL being supported with the latest iOS, but since they are the oldest supported phones, they will be first to fall off of support down the road. I’d say if you want a better feature iphone, for the same price, the refurb market is the way to go. An iPhone 7plus or 8plus will get you a bigger form factor and screen and a second camera. Then you have the iPhone X, which was the first phone to eliminate the thick top and bottom bezels to give you more screen, you lose Touch ID and get Face ID. If you shop in a site like backmarket you can really get a better spec phone for the ballpark same price 399-499 price range with a wide variety of options. The main sacrifice is the future proof factor. You can hold on top the SE2 for longer because of the future iOS support will be longer for the A13 chipset that is in the SE than it will with an older chipset.

Great review it's priced great in the U.S but in the U.K it's the equivalent of $525 which is a bit too much.

There's a drop in price for the SE and it's around ₹35k RN. Also the indigenous production is gonna start in around 2 months so we can expect an extra cutoff around 3k to 4k rupees so in that way it's gonna be bit more affordable in India.

Give me a good reason to buy iPhone SE. *It's a small phone* I said "Order it now".

I’ll tell you it’s nothing near the iPhone 14 promax speakers I don’t know if the standard 14+ speakers are in the same but it’s nowhere near those speakers but it’s not bad at all. I would definitely use this as an iPod touch replacement for sure hands-down no doubt about it but it still has distortion unlike the 14 and the 14 pro And the 14 promax and the 14+ but it definitely sounds better than the iPod touch that’s for sure

Good review, btw. The SE is for anyone who wants to have a compact phone with a screaming CPU for a very reasonable price. It’s not for people who want huge screens and a high price. TouchID is a one step process while FaceID is a two step process to get access. TouchID will always give faster access. The A13 makes it near instantaneous!

Did she say the OnePlus 8 is cheaper in India than the iPhone se? I don't know how I feel about a flagship phone being cheaper than a cheaper phone.

I have been following this channel but had never subscribed to it. But once you mentioned the price difference in India and the value proposition, you got my sub 😉 In India, it's a whole lot expensive to get in to Apple ecosystem too 😣 and I generally don't recommend Apple products to anyone just because of the price.

Problem is that oneplus is cheaper in india than US but cant able to buy that...waiting for almost fr 2 months...still no confirmation from oneplus when they are going to sell oneplus 8 pro in india

I use an app called NeuralCam for my lowlight pictures and I’m very pleased with it. I feel it gives back this lacking feature to the SE. Highly recommend for the SE

Love the "Home" button on my 2020 Product Red iPhone SE as a normal as it always takes me home. Was hoping you might be different than most all of the other pundits when it comes to things like bezels, foreheads, chins, and notches. Thing that you have to understand is normals just want something that works, and is KISS. Thing about bezels that is not what we are watching. We are looking at the screen. The other thing about bezels is that our hands, and fingers when we touch them nothing happens.

Is it 1900 mAh or 1821? Either way got this one in product Red for my son and he loves it. I gave it a go as well and it’s a beast!!! Hands down gonna change the budget phone market. Apple knocked it outta the park with this monster. At least in my opinion. 😊

I have had iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, and I will stay with the iPhone SE (yes I love the newest and greatest, so call me crazy :)) The SE is so nice to handle, and I like that it is so thin also, and just feels like a super efficient piece of tech. I use it as a work tool, not using it for Netflix etc. Yes, the battery life is really the biggest con, and I am a power user - but it is possible to live with it, however when the iPhone 12 comes with 5.4", that will prob be a huge hit, and the SE will "die" for me at that point. FaceID vs TouchID - really dont care, actually prefer TouchID. And OLED vs LCD also not really care, just sad that LCD does not save battery life on the SE in dark mode. Camera on the SE is great - spare me for all the new flagships camera things (90% of users do not care about all this camera stuff), this camera is easy to use and works every time, only downside is no night mode.

I honestly don’t see the point in a front facing camera as i have never used them and don’t plan on using them i would rather have a bigger screen with no notch or bezel the iPhone SE 2 is just the iPhone 6 with a slightly better battery and camera
