I discovered him a few hours ago, in a short improv video on YT and fell in love with his music and his fantastic voice. I've already downloaded all his songs I could find and listen to them non-stop. This kid is a blessing! And what a good job you're doing mom! And by the way...I'm 60 years old and I'm thrilled with the success it's having among our generation. He deserves it, to the fullest.

This such an amazing song. But I am surprised that no one has mentioned this. In the lyrics he says "Cause I will be the one to write your story, and I won't forget a single page. But you could be The Author." And that confused me a bit, because isn't the Author the one that writes the story. So he is saying I will write your story but you can write the story. Its odd but I think majority of his songs have a correlation with each other. Message and Fairytale are natural examples of this, as well as Author. Music is always up to anyone's interpretation, but most notably his music has been going through phases of accepting reality and change, saying one last farewell to a loved one and ofc, wanting to be that pillar for that loved one to lean on.
