Liwa desert resort - Abu Dhabi, UAE, Empty Quarter desert 

In the hart of the Liwa desert in the UAE, lies the Bab Al Nojoum Bateen Liwa desert resort. The resort is on the edge of the well known Empty Quarter desert. Most of the Empty Quarter is within Saudi Arabia. It is classified as a hyper arid desert...as there is NO LIFE in the middle of the Empty Quarter. Similar to Mars I guess :)
The beauty and silence of the desert is profound and almost indescribable.
