The army of designers, Prada first and Phoebe P., who banned diversity models saying " They aren't good as Naomi" Yeah Sure ! Only Alek and Liya survived, all others like Mimi Roche, Jaunel McKenzie, Ujuala R., Yasmeen Warsame and Noémie Lenoir have been totally forgoten.
I miss the fashion days of when a model has to be classically beautiful instead of this “unique” thing that we have had going on for a while. Unique to me is not a compliment when you’re getting millions for the way you look. Yes I get that there have always been “Unique models” like Lauren Hutton, Erin O’Connor, Alek Wek, but I miss the days when the beautiful girls stood out. Today in the fashion world Uniqie is now common and no longer a component so therefore I miss the times in which girls like Kia Gerber, Imam, and Beverly Johnson the truly beautiful girls in now uncommon and harder to find. I miss the 90’s when girls had names. What has happened to fashion? Anna Wintour I hope somewhere and somehow you are reading this and asking yourself why? Is it bad to be classically beautiful? Are the supermodels to expensive? Who cares fashion is expensive. Please bring luxury and beauty back. Thank you
