This woman changed my life back in '92, when I was nine years old and went to my first ever performance, and my first ever stage door to meet the performers. She was incredible as Grizabella and she'll always be "my" Grizabella. She was so nice to me, and continued to write to me even after I'd been back in Australia for a few years, and sent me cassettes of her singing. Liz has one of the most beautiful voices, and most beautiful hearts, that I have ever been privileged enough to experience in my lifetime. It's a shame it's so hard to find her recordings of that particular era of Cats on Broadway; I have nothing against Elaine Paige, but for me it will always, ALWAYS be Liz. I know she will probably never see this comment, but on that tiny chance I just want to say thank you. And thank you to the person who uploaded this. Please never take this down. ♡
