I wish to God that more conservatives and more liberal would work together. This was the best interview I have seen in years. It reminds me of John McCain and Joe Biden arguments on the senate floor and then going to dinner afterwards. Each of them wanting the best for America.

While I would love to see Liz Cheney run for President, in the 2024 election, I think a third party candidate would only dilute the vote for those opposed to Trump becoming president. The main goal for me is to keep Trump from being President and strengthen the power of the constitution so we can, once again, engage in conversations for the betterment of all people. At this time, Biden is the only viable candidate that can do that.

I am European (Dutch) and political, depending on the subject, sometimes a bit left, sometimes a bit right. I don’t understand how people ever vote for a criminal as Trump is. The man is clearly a dangerous mad man. Liz Cheney is, in my opinion, the perfect example of somebody who extremely aware of the fact that a country is from ALL people who agree to disagree and solving problems together, without hate. Liz Chaney, in my opinion, has absolutely the package to lead a process like that, with the right people from USA’s left, middle and right.

As an Australian, I think there are several things that need to happen to enable this: 1) Ranked choice voting - that allows 3rd parties/independents a chance; 2) Compulsory voting - stops voter suppression in its tracks; and 3) All elections (and boundaries) should be run by a nonpartisan federal agency.

I am an Independent in Arizona. Well before the Primary election here, I'll get a notice from the Registers Office, giving me a choice of which party's Primary election I wish to vote in. I've also voted by Mail for many years and its' never been a problem.

My friend brought up a very interesting point the other day: she said the focus on who the Vice President is will be as important as who is elected president.

While I disagree with Liz Cheney,, I do want to read her book. The fact that she stood up to her party was amazing and I want to hear about that. I also recommend to others to read Cassidy Hutchinson's book Enough as well. It was an interesting read.

As much as I admire Liz Cheney’s action here joining a third party ticket is just a spoiler vote away from Biden. She wouldn’t make any dent at all from stripping votes away from trump because she is hated from republican voters. Believe me there’s barely any independents in Wyoming.

If the Republicans wanted to win the presidency and maintain integrity they would have nominated Liz Cheney instead of Trump. Although now with Kamala running, it would make a very interesting race. Two parties in USA are not good for the country. Two parties fight each other for power and interest of their own instead of the country. There are many countries with three or more parties, where common sense tends to win.

It's frankly kind of disgusting how much fawning there is of Cheney. I give her props for doing the bare minimum for acknowledging the truth, but that doesn't make her a good candidate for president. Policy still matters, and this split ticket nonsense really shows how bad Goldberg really is at this job.

I grew up on Reagan and am a believer in the conservative principles espoused by Goldwater. I was not sold on the Bushes when they were in power, but stayed GOP nonetheless. I voted for McCain and Romney too. I did not vote Trump, though was satisfied when he defeated Hillary. After 2020 I really couldn't bring myself to vote Trump, and especially not after the Jan 6th insurrection.
