Well, the time has come. Megan and Liz finally live in the same city again. :') We are both so excited, and for me (Liz) this is my husband & I's first time being homeowners!! This home was my favorite on the list, it had character, it had the rooms we wanted, and was 3 minutes away from Megan. Our offer was accepted on the first night!
I have biiiig plans for this space, and feel so unbelievably lucky and blessed to be in this beautiful home and make memories in it for years to come.

What a nice house and detailed tour! Happy for you and your husband, Liz! It's so cute that you mentioned the selling points, such as light fixtures and shelves, which are quite easy to do yourself. Don't get me wrong: I'd be sooooo grateful if many things are already done & most of the details are so so nice! Of course all the closet space is a luxury, as you said, that will be so useful! Enjoy your place 😊

This is such a good tour!! Most tour videos are very disorienting and I can't really get a good map of the house, but this was a good walkthrough, made sense. One question: for the main guest bedroom, is the closest bathroom going to be too out of the way? I love your taste in interior, agree with you on the bricks and kitchen cabinets and the windows and the lights!! So artsy

As somebody who has the "bad habit" of not closing the door when I go to the bathroom, that toilet visible down the hallway is hilarious! Ah the memories of new home ownership. We slept in sleeping bags on the floor for a little while because we had absolutely no furniture. And the last things to go up were curtains, so we had to change in the closet so people outside couldn't see us standing in the bedroom window 🤣
