I consider myself lucky and honored to have witnessed such a great artist perform. Many will live a life without that honor...Long live the queen Liza!!!!
I just can't love her more, her powerful voice plus that wonderful energy! All that together with a great band backing her and sometimes singing together with some of the best singers of all time... Class, quality, power, style... She has everything!
I Saw this movie and I loveit. Liza was one of the greatest singer in the World and in Cabaret she was amazing wonderful beautiful and the voice Smarvellos ❤ Love her.

saw Liza three times! the best performance with Charles Aznevour at Carnegie Hall in NYC. Greatest performer ever I saw! She loves to perform. Lives for it like her mother, Loves her fans!
You know, I hate it when people compare and pick favorites between artists. Case in point, Judy and Liza. I love them both and respect each of them for their individual talents. Why must people pick favorites? I see so much of Judy in Liza but that doesn't mean I blur the lines and incessantly compare the two. I love them both for what they have shared with their public. They are both amazing performers and the world would be a sadder, colder place without having known either of them.
She's incredible - was upset she put 'not' in front of 'going like Elsie' because I thought that took the message to live for the moment away, but then I remembered Liza was addicted to alcohol and prescription pills and now it makes sense
You're right, it's not right for the song. It was Judy Garland who died of 'pills and liquor', and then Liza had a famous fight with them herself. But the song says, 'Life's not perfect, but living and loving it to the full whilst you're here is what it's all about'. And when one day you play the part in drag!!!!, (who knows, darling)?!, you'll think of Pauline, our very own Sally Bowles...Check out the version with the prologue.
