Today, I went on the Lizard Point Cornwall to Kynance Cove walk - hiking the SW Coast Path out, and across farmland coming back. The 2 sites are managed by National Trust Cornwall, the Lizard Point being the most southerly point on the mainland of the UK, whilst Kynance Cove Cornwall is home to stunning sea cliffs, turquoise waters and a white sand beach that comes into view at low tide. This section of the SW Coast Path Walk, along the Lizard Coast is home to farmers livestock, wildlife such as birds and sea life, beautiful wildflowers in midsummer (timed perfectly for my Cornwall holiday) and the rugged and wild beaches. This is one video in a 20 part travel vlog series of my time spent in Devon and Cornwall so if you are planning to visit Cornwall England, are looking for a South West Coast Path circular hike or an easy hike in Cornwall you may be interested in watching some of my other Cornwall Vlogs.

Yes! Also laughed when you took a wide path around the cows. Jenn would have done the same thing!

Last part of my research kynance cove is one of most beautiful places in Cornwall unique feature beach which connects aspargus island to mainland famous too for serpentine rock used to carve ornamental lighthouses as trays purchased from many gifts shops located in lizard village members park free by scanning card the month of September is best time to visit finally lizard point meaning it’s derives from old Cornish means fortress there about 50 pairs on north Cornish coast there are number small tidal islands and stackes within kynance cove which were formed because bremoitle serpentine was broken thank you for sharing your trips with us even virtually bon voyage stay safe blessed good luck to you your family friends

I hadn't realised the island was called asparagus, but you're right! September being the ideal time to visit also sounds about right. The weather will still be nice, but the peak summer school holiday crowds will be gone as the kids are back in school! As always, you're most welcome - I'm so pleased you find the videos helpful

A very enjoyable walk along this beautiful coast. We last walked this in mid January in pre-covid days. The weather was amazing and the crowds non existent. Kynance Cove is always an attractive destination and it was fun to watch your experience of the area. I will be watching many more of your movies.

Hey hey, so pleased you're wanting to watch more of my videos and none are putting you off 🙏 I bet it's amazing on a lovely winters day when they are no crowds. Are you local to the area, or was it luck that you chose to holiday there in the winter when it was nice?

We stayed the week in a National Trust cottage just along the coast from the Lizard Point. It was a hut used by Marconi when he was sending his first radio signals. We were able to walk a circuit from the hut to Kynance Cove via the Lizard point (following your route) then across the Lizard to Cadgwith Cove before returning via the coast path. I often choose to holiday out of season when often the weather can be good and the crowds are still safely tucked up in front of the TV.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS on 1,000 subscribers - thoroughly deserved and a testament to the quality of videos you're putting out. The area around Lizard Point looks very rugged and alive with nature - can't believe how those steps and cliff edges are eroding away. Love how you find all those tiny coves and local cafes, there's something very relaxing about walking along the coast and finding those sorts of places. I've wanted to visit the Lizard Peninsula and Lands End area since my trip to John O'Groats so you're visit has definitely given me some ideas for a future excursion. Your pointers at the end were very useful - another detailed and enjoyable video!

Hi Matt, thank you so much for your lovely and kind comments. It was wonderful news to wake up to on Monday morning seeing the 1,001st subscriber. I too was particularly taken by how eroded those beach steps were! I have a video coming out in a few weeks where I hike from Lands End to Porthcurno beach and I personally think it's an even better stretch than the Lizard (though we had stunning weather so am never 100% sure!) I loved walking along the SW Coast Path on this trip, I'd highly recommend it for future excursions!

I can understand why the BBC has said its one of the most beautiful stretches of the SW coast path. Though over the next month or 2, I have a couple more videos featuring SW coast path walks and I personally think those are even better still!
