Back at the beginning of this year, I started a series of videos taking a comprehensive, chronological look at all the DVD releases that I currently own of television shows produced by Disney, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Disney Channel. Well, I haven’t made a new entry in that series since July, despite being so close to reaching the endgame, and I figured that after a 4-month break, it’s finally time to begin finishing what I started before 2023 comes to a close.
Now that I have tackled every single DVD release I ever had (before this series of videos went on hiatus, that is) of the Disney Television Animation shows, it’s finally time to cover the only three DVD releases I currently own of Disney Channel’s live-action sitcoms.
We begin with the series that single-handedly made Disney Channel a tween sensation in the early 2000s, Lizzie McGuire! There are plenty of DVDs of this series, even a season set, but the only release I currently own is the fourth and final of the show’s single-disc compilations: “Totally Crushed”, a romance-themed DVD that came out on March 16, 2004. Maybe I could have saved this one for Valentine’s Day considering its theme, but I’ve kept you all waiting for long enough.
Anyways, this particular Lizzie McGuire DVD, like the three single-disc compilations of the series that came before it, contains four thematically-related episodes of the series, plus a fifth episode that is not featured on the title’s concurrently-released VHS counterpart as the only bonus feature. Here is a list of everything you’ll find in this overview of the Lizzie McGuire: Totally Crushed DVD…
OPENING:

2.) Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo (2001-07) (the semi-rare black variant!) (apologizes in advance for the poor frame rate; the DVD was acting weird during this part of it, and ONLY this part of it, when I put it in my PC for the purpose of recording footage of it for this video)

4.) Brother Bear VHS and DVD promo (which mostly recycles the material seen in the film’s theatrical trailer seen on the first Kim Possible DVD)

7.) Start of program (complete with a special title card for the compilation after the show’s intro plays!)
CLOSING:
