First time watching and was in tears. Lizzo has helped me a lot when I'm feeling bad about myself. She has such a positive message. Just making breakfast minding my own business and then RU-vid plays this and I’m sobbing putting my grilled cheese together. ‘I’m so glad that you’re still with us, broken but damn you’re still perfect.’ I’ve survived a couple of attempts and spent the last ten years trying to build myself up to the point that I believe I am worthy of life despite all my scars and shame. I caught this performance on SNL when it aired and this track just jumped out to me. I bought the record right away and I will say beginning to end this entire record is brilliant. Beautiful melodies, beats are on point and the message... the message.... the message, I was so moved by all of these lyrics, this is what the world needs now a killer artist who makes you look at yourself and love yourself. Sometimes artists will put out records where the message overshadows the songs, not this album, just brilliant. I am probably a little bit older then the average Lizzo listener but it doesn't matter, it really spoke to me. I was so moved I bought all of your records my only complaint, I wanted the songs to be longer, I guess it just you want to hear them more. So Ms. Lizzo, take a bow your record is deemed "Classic", this album and every song on it will be played 20yrs from now and still be a killer. I am truly happy and proud of you. Well Done!!!
