Welcome home Lizzy. Welcome home are the only words that I remember from my baptism almost 30 yrs ago. Thank you for sharing with us. You have reminded me of my own phone call to the missionaries. Not many of us call them. I think the Lord found you. He must have work for you to do. 💕

Yeah...the members around here stick to themselves. I've reached out to them but they are so busy with their own lives. I'm so dang lonely...I turned away from my old friends who weren't very good for my life. I honestly feel hopeless.

I'm so sorry. Maybe you can pray to befriend someone who is just as lonely. Everyone has felt lonely at times, especially Jesus; he understands. You might be surprised who else is lonely.

Try going to the chapel for a Sunday meeting and reach out to the bishop.. They are bound to have singles like yourself that you can connect with. 😇🙏❤️

Try reaching out to others who may feel lonely too! sitting by someone new at church never hurts either! Your bishop or relief society president can also be an awesome help with this situation too!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints believe in only one God. The fundamental part of the Church is that God loves us, and that he sent his son, Jesus Christ, to the earth to atone for our sins so we can return to live with God again.

@@tanneresplin617 They don't recognize the Christian concept of the trinity (God existing in three persons). Instead, they believe the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are three separate gods.

Thomas Haro which is true, read the account of Christ being baptized in the Bible. The father is speaking, Christ is being baptized, and the Spirit is descending like a dove. That would be three distinct, separate beings.

@@bigfootdrums I don't know if I understand your beliefs about the Trinity. You are claiming that they are three distinct, separate beings, but are one God? We believe The Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are separate. We call that the Godhead. We know that are work together in unison to try to accomplish God's work, to bring us back to return in His presence.

1): She claimed to have started reading the BoM "just for fun". Yeah; she actually said that. 2): Whenever a female convert is featured in these "why I became a Mormon" video's, it's usually a variation on the theme of "I met this hawt guy and..."; I definitely don't get that vibe from this woman...
