So I thought I'd let you guys decide and made two versions of this beat! The long version starts at 0:00 and ends at 4:00. (4min 0s long/green artwork) The short version starts at 4:00 minutes and ends at 6:49. (2min 49s long/blue artwork)

I wish more people would do the short and long version thing. It gives a lot more freedom when deciding what to write because personally sometimes, I need different things for different songs/ vibes.

Thank you so much, Rasmus! You‘ve got good ears man, I‘m indeed strumming with my thumb to make sound it a little less metallic. :) I used a sigma 000M-15 for this production. A very nice and also pretty cheap guitar :)

Cool! It sounds great, especially considering the price. Does it sound very metallic when using a pick instead? What other guitars do you have? Do you have one with a rubber bridge? I currently own zero guitars. I hope to change that one day. Thumb strumming is underrated :)

@@rasmussgaard2596 I like to be pretty close to the mic while recording in order to get a warm and intimate sound. When you use a pick with this recording technique there will be way more harsh harmonics and clicky sounds in the recording and I just like how much control I have when I just strum with my thumb/fingers. :) I've got two acoustic guitars. The Sigma that I already mentioned and also a very old Tanglewood Guitar. The Sigma sounds more woody and a bit warmer. And the Tanglewood sounds moreopen and has got more high end.

You're achieving a great sound for sure. What mic do you use? I'll have to try a Sigma one day. I really like the sound and the price :) I've always wanted a Martin, but they're pretty expensive.

It‘s a lapsteel guitar. A more compact version of a pedal steel guitar. It‘s great for making harmonic slides etc. 😌
