Ljeskovik is a populated place (village) in the municipality of Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The settlement is located in the southwestern part of the Srebrenica municipality, in the Osat region. It is 23.6 km away from the town of Srebrenica, and is connected by part of an asphalt road (18 km) and a macadam road (5.6 km). It is located in the upper, stepped part of the slope of the mountain slope of Gliza. The stepped part of the slope probably represents the fossil remains of a landslide that today represents a stable slope. Parts of the settlement are located at different altitudes from 810 to 950 m. It consists of the hamlets of Ljeskovik and Markovići. The area of the cadastral municipality is 20.1 km2, of which 18.7% is privately owned. Children from Ljeskovik attended a four-year elementary school in Radoševići, and higher classes in Osatica elementary school. A few years after the return of the Bosniak population, in 2003, a four-year school was built in Ljeskovik. Religious obligations were performed in the mosque in Klotjevac.
The area of Ljeskovik was inhabited in the Middle Ages, and probably earlier. There are three necropolises with stećci near the settlement:
It is mentioned in the Ottoman ledger from 1604, when it is stated that 45 Muslims and eight non-Muslims live in Ljeskovik.
By July 1995, 21 people from Ljeskovik had been killed, including two women, with an average age of 30. During the Srebrenica genocide, 96 men were killed, including 14 minors, with an average age of 34.3 years.
In the period from 2000 to 2005, 36 households with 120 members returned to Ljeskovik, and 33 houses were renovated. In the territory of the Federation of BiH, 175 people originating from Ljeskovik settled, of which 114 in the Tuzla Canton, 53 in the Sarajevo Canton and eight in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, in the Vozuća settlement. A significant part of the population moved out of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 122 to the USA, 38 to Sweden, 19 to Denmark, 17 to France, four to Germany and 14 to other European countries.
The Bosniak population is mainly made up of descendants of Muhajirs who were expelled from Western Serbia during the 19th century, mainly from Sokolska nahija.
According to the 1879 census, 187 people lived in Ljeskovik, 218 in 1885, 248 in 1895, 248 in 1910, 202 in 1921, 269 in 1948, 287 in 1953, and 336 in 1961.
In all censuses, the population was almost exclusively Bosniak. The total population growth in the period from 1879 to 1991 was 188%. The growth in the number of households in the period from 1895 to 1991 was 88%, while the average household size increased from 4.9 members to 5.6 members. The number of houses increased from 1879 to 1991 by 326%. In 1991, the economically active population was engaged in agriculture (48 persons), industry and mining (39 persons), construction (seven persons), forestry (four persons), trade (four persons), and water management and crafts, one person each. Literacy was 16% in 1953, and 85% in 1991. 104 people (12 women) completed primary education, 32 (three women) secondary education, and one man.
