These guys are professional sportsmen. There is no reason why Harrison shouldn't do whatever is best for HIM. We want what is best for the club and wouldn't hesitate to get rid of him or anyone else if it suited us
He was technically sold against his will twice. Can't blame him for not having faith in the system. Tried his best and l felt for him when he was subbed in the last home game. He knew it was over. Love him or loathe him, he always tried his best. That hatrick at West ham was a delight. Good luck to him
This part of the year melts my head with bullshit links and rumours, so i really appreciate you doing all the grunt work and wading through all the shite for your viewers. Not all heroes wear capes. If you did, it'd be white, yellow and blue, I'm sure.
Harrison could only play during the spring and summer months. Went missing when it got a bit cold. Wish him all the luck at Everton, he's going to need it
Many thanks Ger, bad choice of words for Jack Harrison, he may live to rue the day he sais No Regrets. Looking forward to Leeds signing a few more players before the start of the season. Can't wait.
Ljubicic sounds like a decent signing. I'm sure if we're keen to get him, we will, especially as it should only take another million or so to bring him to Elland Road.
44k Ger, we’ll done mate feel privileged to have been with you since first 1000. Keep the format the same, short sharp straight to the point, I guess you know that by now though 👏
Fantastic summary as ever. You'll hit 50K in no time Ger! Thanks for the content and hope some sponsorship comes your way and membership increases. MOT
Congrats on the 44k mate. absolutely smashing it. Keep up the great content and you will crack the 45k and the 50k subs mark with no worries. MOT. ALAW.
Thanks Ger. Channel growth is just amazing and fully deserved. Gutted I’m going to miss live stream tonight as have other commitments. No probs with Harrison going. We did try to sell him on transfer deadline day. Sara would be an amazing signing if that comes off then watch our as well dominate the league IMO. Think we should follow Blackburn and tell teams we’re not going to look at any bids for Willie and Cry after 31 July. That allows squad to settle down before season starts.
I have some regrets about Jack Harrison, one of them being that he played too many games for us in the Prem when he should have been dropped, and another regret is that he didnt get transferred to Leicester.
Congrats Ger on the 44k subscribers. thanks for the update Harrison speaks likes he is a world class player .. nothing but a bang average player tbh. Sara I want to sign him if leeds can get him tbh!.
Love the usual comprehensive coverage Ger ... it really is much appreciated by your subscribers. For me, Harrison and other players who have left the club since relegation should be in everyone's rear view mirror by now ... time to move on and focus on what the team are going to do in the new season to better the outcome of the last one ... aka Automatic Promotion. MOT fella ...
With all due respect I have more respect for Aaronson. At least he has the cahoonas to come back and try to earn a place. How that goes is obviously up to him, but knowing us, if he starts putting a good shift in and gets us results, he will win over the fan base without a doubt. Great update as usual Ger 👏
People seem to have forgotten that Leeds where willing to sell him (Harrison) and he was having a medical at Leicester. Loyalty is a 2 way street. Think Leeds burn the bridge then.
as ive mentioned to a few, leeds were also negotiating a new deal with him, and it appeared he wasn't too keen and he went to Leicester for a medical, he then negotiated the loan release and signed the extension. It wasnt as black and white as sky sports made it out to be,.
I’m not sad to see Harrison commit to the Toffees, I think we had the best of him! I hope to see the loanees that have come back have a stellar season and go some way to recouping the trust they lost. Will you be doing a fantasy football league Ger? Could be fun??🎉
Congratulations Ger, hope you reach 50k soon. Hope we get Sara and play with two no. 10. I honesty think we look better without Cree and Gnonto as a team, nothing to do with their quality. MOT
🤐Jackie's mother, agent and management should button it and get our clubs name out his mouth! I couldn't find a small enough violin when he was discussing his injury. 👍Nice rumour mill graphic, Ger.
Not defending JH’s comments but my perception is that as some of the fans turned on him, and let’s face it, some fans are pretty fickle and pretty scathing when it comes to comments about players. Due to those comments and that type of attitude, then that’s why he has no regrets. JH was a fans favourite, he clearly played whilst carrying an injury and feels that he gave his all. He was, at one point on the cusp of an England call up and wanted to give himself the best chance to play at the top level. This, imo, is what any professional in any walk of life wants. Bombastic comments and knee jerk, thoughtless reactions do more harm than good. Players are only human and if they don’t feel wanted or are not supported, then they vote with their feet. We never know the whole story and yet so often the response from fans is one of anger, frustration and verbal abuse! Maybe if we kept our powder dry and waited to get the facts then maybe we could provide structured and measured response. Clearly there are other factors at play and whether financial or just ambition, the club is about the fans and the fans are about the club. Over many years I have paid my dues and watched players come and go. I am still here and that won’t change🤷🏼♂️
I hear you. I think fans criticised his performances and at times had good reason to. Criticism is art of the game and some players just dont want it but want the applause when they do something good. Any online abuse is always a step too far, tagging players in comments is unnecessary and unwise. But from a player perspective, Jacks PR has never been great, hes put himself in positions before with fans based on things hes said. Criticism is perfectly acceptable, abuse isnt.
@@LeedsUnitedTheView agreed. Criticism is part and parcel and players need to take it on the chin. I just think some fans go too far and it’s bordering on persecution. No one likes that. Looking forward to the season getting going …not long now 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Given how we had sold Harrison to Leicester then we cancelled the deal etc which in my opinion was an error. I can fully understand his view on it. We tried to bin him off then rebuked. I don’t view him has one of the traitorous spineless players thanks to Orta. I do think Harrison’s over rated though, certainly a talented lad but not consistent enough!
He was offered a new deal around then too and didn't sign the initial one. Then the loan release went in and he signed. So we don't know the motivation then. Maybe leeds assumed he wouldn't sign a new deal and tried to sell.
@@LeedsUnitedTheView Yeah I just see it as he's one for me that I can understand wanting to leave. We will never sadly know the full details but I always thought it was a bit crap from Leeds that they decided to sell him to Leicester then pulled the plug. We might still have Gray if we hadn't mucked about and had sold him instead of waisting two years with loans. 😂
@jakwadd well as I mentioned the sale and plug being pulled related to him signing a new deal or not. As soon as the Leicester deal was off he signed his new deal for 5 years, with a loan exit clause, 6 months into it he left. He left again this year. He talks about Leeds as if its his former club, which right now it's not. He put his foot in his mouth 2 summers ago when Newcastle had a sniff, he publicly refused to rule out a move and even said wait and see to the press. I think he meant to say nice things here, but he tends to put his foot in his mouth.
I have no problem with Harrison finding a new job, we all do it if it benefits us. That said he has only gone for a while, and represents a saleable asset. On the other hand I don’t think he is good enough for the premier league and I have no regrets that he wants to leave assuming he can find someone willing to pay for him.
Goodbye Mr Hot and cold.just wish you could take two recent arrivals from Germany with you."side before self, everytime".onwards, and hopefully upwards my friends.
Harrison was "wishy-washy"at best and I for one wouldn't be devastated if he never came back. The obvious great spirits among the new crop of players certainly doesn't need a poison dwarf like him returning
Harrison is one of those players who has trained incessantly to get to the level that he has. But he's an average player, with no real special attributes. I think too much attention has been put on him. All I remember is him losing the ball all the time and failing to take defenders on. Not a bad crosser, and good work rate.. but absolutely bang average. Anything over £4m is a good sale IMO
As much as I'd like him, no way we're in for Sara. Norwich will want £20-25m+ and Sara would likely want Premiership football. Farke mentioned we wanted a player in CM role, but he also said such a player would have to be affordable. I'd be happy to be proved wrong though.
I'm not sure Harrison would get into the team at Leeds to be honest, far too inconsistent. No point him staying to warm the bench. He may as well go get a start at Everton.
Dude she's doing a job. Maybe go easy on her. Not nice to have people having a pop at you publicly when you're new. I'm sure it be crappy if someone walked into your job that you never met and told you they thought you were crap. Nut you'd never done their job, didn't know what their bosses told them or what the companies priorities are.
and they uploaded the edited highlights at the same time as the full game which probably explains the 2 hour delay (to do the edit) after full time. It is possible that the Shalke match is played at the same training ground as Wednesday and might well be at the same time. Otherwise it's all secret squirrel !
At the end of the day I don’t want to hear shite about Jack Harrison. Just trying to get fans to feel sorry for him. Just wish we had the option of painkillers and injections while watching that squad that season. He was part of the reason we find ourselves where we do.

Been covered in the comments already mate. People also forget there was a contract on the table that wasn't signed, and was signed by Harrison the second the deal to Leicester collapsed. The contract then happened to have a loan exit. He also didn't shoot down links to Newcastle at the start of that season saying publicly to the press "wait and see".
Just so I understand, in the last two MONTHS of our relegation season, Jack was playing with a torn cartilage, tendon AND/OR groin that eventually required NAILS put in? and people are criticizing his performance/attitude? I understand he made the decision to play, but him having no regrets, against that backdrop, is actually gracious. I'm not sure the video headline is fair in that context - especially given the many great plays Jack gave us over the years, which I think too many people are quiet about.
I dont know many player who have " nails put into tendons". The title is based on what he said, he said he had no regrets about leaving Leeds. Ive quoted the article and ive been as fair as i can. Sorry its not to your liking.
Harrison lad , nobody in the right mind gives a crap your gone or going ,, your prolly one of mist frustrating players ive ever seen play for Leeds , im elated along with the majority of the fanbase who understand how inconsistent he was , what a gimp enjoy Everton lol
@@LeedsUnitedTheView we don't need anyone unless we lose Summerville in that position and he is not good enough as a replacement, even if it's to play second fiddle to Aaronsson. No point bringing in another winger unless we lose one and if this is the guy, not good enough imo. That's what I was implying.
@kelvinengland3991 that's the point. Millar, Szmodics, Rak-Sakyi are all likely lined up as replacements if Summerville or Gnonto move. It's unlikely that we bring in a winger unless they go.
@@LeedsUnitedTheView yea I know but I don't think Millar is good enough as a replacement. I know we can't get another Summerville but we can get better than Millar.
Harrison was very average. He was in and out of games. So if we do get money offered and not at a loss take it.and move on. Same with the kid from Italy 😢
Jack’s not the sharpest tool in the box is he Ger? He seems to separate the club from the fans in that not particularly well constructed comment. I kind of get it. A section of fans have never been convinced. We tried to off-load him, he didn’t have the intellect or appetite to analyse that. Anyway, at some point he’ll look back at his career and realise that he’s spent the best years of it on loan. Which means clubs need convincing, that’s his fault.
@@LeedsUnitedTheView maybe clumsy - maybe touch of the Harry Ks about him. Saw Kewell interviewed as a really young guy and was asked how much he owed Leeds for his position- he said “I don’t think I owe them anything” - he was our player at the time and he meant it.
Let’s sell Harrison and any of the others who want out, we are just about to start this new season and we need quality to get out of this league, let’s finally get the players in we need and move forward.
