+TheCrypticKnight I think LL Cool J, Eminem, and Jay Z are among the best rappers, they're not the best but they are included in the list. Dr.Dre is more of a producer than a rapper most of his stuff was ghost written for him. on "Still D.R.E" his verse was written for him by Jay Z. So i really don't think you putting in Dre on that list will be effective lol. Don't get me wrong Dre's voice is suitable for hip hop, but in terms of rapping he doesn't write his own stuff but he's a great producer.

That's how songs used to be, 3-4 verses with hooks between. Because they were in a studio with actual producers and engineers making SONGS. Today anybody can whip up a beat and record whatever and put it on RU-vid by themselves. I'm not hating, music is supposed to evolve or whatever but it's definitely weird to me hearing songs that don't follow a normal kinda format.... and 3 minutes is long now, I hate these little 2 minute songs. Like King Von's "Wayne's Story"..... the song is dope, but right when it's getting good it's over. Like that shit should've been twice as long. I miss full length songs.

He did cuss when he said motherfucker at 0:40 & I'll treat you like a stepchild, so tell mommy bye bye at 3:45 But his point is made, as to say that the track isn't completely fueled by vulgarity & misogyny. One line was vulgar, one bar had a misogynistic tone; and it was done (perhaps) as tactful as possible, while maintaining the arrogant confidence of the overall theme. Dude is bad.... you could never deny his talent or skill.

Yea, but blame THE PARENTS from THAT era that are raising the kids that you speak of in THIS era. If it was so great back then, then howcome it didn't rub off on your kids and/or why didn't y'all just raise them the same way too?? You can't blame the kids without also blaming the parents. It's not thier fault. They were just raised to be this way, or just raised to be however they turned out to be the way that they currently are right now. Y'all are complaining about how the kids are today, when it was y'all who raised them. But everyone would just rather point fingers instead of just owning up to the problem tbh. And you know I'm right.

We don't appreciate how fortunate we were to experience REAL MC'S, REAL TALENT, REAL MUSICIANSHIP-ON THE REGULAR, TOO! These dime a dozen ass songs today are SO WEAK it's shameful. I mean, if you can rhyme moon and June-you can be a rapper?!? WTF??? SO sad for a kid who wants to feel what it really SHOULD feel like!
