ET sat down with LL Cool J to talk about his late friend and 'In the House' co-star, Kobe Bryant. Exclusives from #ETonline : • NEW From Entertainment...
I still can't get over the fact that I'm affected. He felt like a distant family member. I have shed some real tears over this man to have not known him personally.
@@worthwhilediscussion I just think about the life he lived. What an amazing example! When thinking about him, Kobe lived a great life. He worked at his dream job, met and married his true love, had 5 children (one miscarriage). Got the experience of being a father. Had the opportunity to play with Michael Jordan and later became friends with him. Kobe got to travel the world, learned/spoke Italian and Spanish fluently. He was humble and unselfish. To top it all off he was wealthy! He truly lived the dream life! God truly blessed him!
Free R I understand exactly what you’re saying; I didn’t know him either, and I wasn’t even a basketball fan, but I definitely knew who Kobe Bryant was, and The death of him and his daughter has really touch me deeply and made me shed a few tears too, But the way Kobe is loved by so many, he will never be forgotten, and May God be with his wife Vanessa and their children he left behind, and I know many people haven’t mention his parents, due to conflict he had with them, but their still his parents and I send my condolences to them and his siblings as well... May Kobe, Gianna and the 7 other souls all Rest Peacefully In heaven 💜🙏🏽💛🙏🏽🙌🏽
We knew that Kobe was this great basketball player and champion, but Kobe had a life away from the court where he was helping the homeless. He and his wife had a foundation for the youth and homeless. They had a place to sleep, eat a hot meal.... Kobe just gave them hope when they thought they didn't have a chance in life. Kobe took on that project to give back. He knew it was going to be hard to fulfill, but he took on that challenge. Kobe sacrifice his life to help others. He didn't let money Define who he was. Kobe was a real Champion 👑
*_Being born n raised in California it was just natural to say, “Kobeeeee!!!” While u were shooting hoops or trying to make that cool 😎 shot throwing that paper in the trash!!_* 🗑 *_Kobe was just in our blood.. It’s like a culture.. & I’m sure the whole world has done this before too.._*
Im from New Orleans never been to L.A. went to every Lakers game when they came to New Orleans! I was a die hard Kobe fan! My nickname was Kobe! My son was born 3/16/2019 his name is Kobe Nash!
You best believe it aint a California only thing. I'm from New York, all the way across the country and we been screaming "Kobe!" since I was 10 years old and this was in 2000.
Love it , you know the meaning ? His parents named him from the best cut of steak , it's meaning is tender young . I could have it mixed up but look it up , his parents was out on date night and while looking over a menu that's how he got the name . True story Kobe , tells it in interviews .
Honestly, I was not a Kobe fan per se, but always respected him and his amazing skills. However, Kobe and his daughter's death shocked me. Till this day, thinking about it hurts. Also, I feel for Vanessa, this is hard and it is amazing to see how strong she is. I couldn't in a million years imagine losing my child and the love of my life. No one should ever experience such pain. Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka and Capri, our thoughts, hearts and prayers are with you. 😍😍🙏🙏💓💓💓. God needed and therefore called his angels to paradise. I know Kobe, Gigi and all victims in that horrible crash have already formed and amazing team in heaven!
Nice comment. It's sad that the hate and resentment his parents had towards their son because he made his own life decision and married a " white " woman. The hate ran so deep his parents even refused to be apart of their grandchildren's lives. Their racist. Why the media isn't calling it like they would if the colors were reversed says alot about today's narrative. If his dad had such deep rooted racism why subject your son to growing up in a European country. Theres so many things to be said about this but all this is about kobe and how great he was. Not his parents. Kobe is an inspiration for all and the love the world showed back cemented everything kobe did in his own life and his actions are proof. He did everything right
RU-vid Russian vid's and watch his presentations on the Kobe Bryant death hoax. Super blatant. RU-vid Peekat censored and look for his Kobe Bryant exposed videos . If you have any fortitude you will check out these videos and stop falling for celebrity death hoax is and the occult controlled entertainment industry.✌🏽
@@charlesmarilynbillington3532 Kobe Bryant is a Freemason who faked his death they called him black mamba because it means black serpent he had a workout program called the 666 program there was a commercial where Kobe bryant exploded a helicopter before his death there was a cartoon where Kobe bryant crashes in a helicopter and explodes you are all being hypnotized by fake celebrity deaths and idol worship. RU-vid mag ugly truth and watch the video about the Kobe Bryant death hoax
For L to say that about Kobe..is remarkable, I grew up on listening to his music...Bigger and Deffer, the 1987 album , I need love, one of my favorite song. L is still relevant so for him to give Kobe homage is saying something.
@@AvecPoesie great times the good ol day's i know u remember Kobe's verse on the Brian McKnight song Kobe's hand gestures was the highlight of the video lol
Perfect speech...20 yrs ago I named my son after Kobe after watching him played was just something abt him that shines a rare diamond so sad he's gone RIP my catholic brother an yr daughter
It was touching when L.L.Cool J said, it had been a long time since he wept. It reminded me of the only time Jesus wept, was for Lazarus. It's got to be some great man, about Kobe, that's got the whole world sad, weeping, and heartbroken.
Well people who are not interested in sports, especially out of america, didnt even know him! And thats the majority! I know a lot of people who only knew him out of the media or newspapers after he died! I said to them: What?? You dont know Kobe Bryant??? I couldnt believe it! So to say the whole world was sad and cried is a bit exaggerated although i saw that after the reports also people who didnt know him were sad afterwards!! 😉But for those who knew him its absolutely right what you said
LL COOL J thank you for your words remembering Kobe. I am Italian I didnt know who Kobe was until I heard the news of his passing away with Gianna. From that Moment I started to love him and admire the great legend he was in basket ball and life. He truly went inside my heart this is the sign of the great person he was
I love my LL! This brutha doesn’t age! He’s still fine! Most don’t realize how articulate he is! Very well spoken dude! This interview is one of the best thus far!
They call it goat because they worship Baphomet being half man half goat. A symbol of satanism. Kobe Bryant was a satanist so is Shaquille O'Neal and Jerry West.. And many other legends who pretended Kobe Bryant just died including his tearless wife who read a pre planned script with no emotions.... Yet Michael Jordan had some tears and sniffle
Thank you LL for sharing your thoughts and comments about a young man that truly loved his wife and children and career, and never forgot where he came from. Peace love light. 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🚴♀️🌹🚴♀️💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Kobe has impacting a lot of life even me i got affect it i went to a corner of my house and cry like a baby that day i went outside it was foggy and cloud and while i was outside smoking a cigarette and seeing the clouds and the trees i saw two crows that where flying in circle and them dessapeaer went back home as soon i check my phone saw straight on RU-vid a video that koby Bryant and his daughter got dead in a helicopter crash and others people to i just cry kobe Bryant never gonna be forgotten i love him so much God bless his soul and the others who die to 😥🙏
I felt the same way.its soooo sad eventhough kobie and his daughter and all those precious people passed we still have to thank god for the memory of them and keep them in prayer so that we can heal and gain strength.i believe they alll are tigether in that magic place doing the jobs god has assigned them to do
❤️ LL & will always a fan. Everything he said was intelligent and on point “ask yourself...am I doing my best?” That’s all we can do with the gifts and talents we have, everyday. Kobe did his best, we can too!
I had to cry I just felt like he was someone in the family that we have lost watching him from the age 17 to now I was so proud of the son brother wife and father that he had become May God be with them and us all Rest in paradises Kobe and GiGi and to Everyone on that Helicopter and their families we are hurting for them also That was truly a Sad Day that we will always remembers Much love LL Cool J another wonderful Beloved Brother 💕
Kobe touched the WORLD and everyone felt it, no matter who you are if you didn't feel it or shed tears then you are not human. Much respect to L.L. Cool J another mentor of life and words of wisdom.
I've cried off and on since the day Kobe passed, but seeing that Oscar in Kobes hand at 2:18 with his Jersey on it brought it all out again, a part of me died when Kobe died but seeing that made a part of me die all over again 😭😭😭😭😭
THANK YOU MR LL COOL J ' for the words YOU spoke ...I can see and feel the genuineness of it and how it came from a sincere pure place....GOD BLESS YOU !!!
That speakes volume to his parents on how they raised him . I seen a interview with the teenage Kobe , and he spoke on the " love and respect " that he had for his parents and sisters , they were always there for him before basketball . How the love of his mother kept him grounded , and he could never repay them back for that , but some where alone the way he forgot that . Because you have to still remember those that brought you to where you've reached or maybe he should have looked back at some of his old interviews to remember who got him there and the words that he spoke . There's never enough money to repay your parents especially if they were not good but great ones to you and to listen to him they were that so money should not have come between them . Even the parents that didn't always have but did there best deserve respect too .
Kobe never forgot about his parents. I don't know what gave you that impression. He had a falling out with his parents because his parents treated him n his wife nasty when they got together. Even then kobe would still look out for them, but word is that his mother would try to pawn off the memorabilia that he would gift em. Kobe stayed decent n honorable til the end. His parents are the one that held a grudge
VERY WELL SPOKEN LL... THANK YOU FOR THIS INTERVIEW.... NAILED IT, YOU DID... R.I.PARADISE KOBE AND GIANNA BRYANT.... P.S. LL, YOU SHOULD WRITE AND DEDICATE ONE OF YOUR FAMOUS SONGS...WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR AND LISTEN TO YOUR THOUGHTS ANS LOVE FOR THE BOTH OF THEM...
Salute to LL cool J great tribute from one great to another I have just done ‘ mama said knock them out ‘ as a big up to you karaokestyle we love you LL , as we love and miss the great Kobe 🙏🏽❤️
Amazing to hear legends speak about legends, so great to hear words of admiration amongst men. Always follow your dreams and they will make room for you! Peace and Love 👑👑👑🏁🏁🏁
There will never be another Kobe he was a great LA we gonna be hurt for a while we lost nip and Kobe are kings I can't get over it RIP Gigi Kobe and everybody who lost they life that day we will never be the same we gotta bring this championship home for them this year
LL is a very intelligent man! He gave a very excellent interview. Kobe was very intelligent as well cuz I didn't know he produced a movie. Then he played a Mozart piece on the piano. A very multi-talented young man. I hope all his daughters follow suit.
I've felt pain over this over and over and over again. Kobe showed Gigi basketball. As much as he could have in that little bit of time. It's still hard to understand take this in and not be angry and selfish about losing souls who we feel should still be here.
R.I.P. Kobe. He lived life like we all should, like tomorrow is not promised... Love LL. Always been articulate and can drop a rhyme like no other. Objections? Go and listen to Hit Em High from the ORIGINAL Space Jam soundtrack 💯💯💯💯
Kobe was probably one of the only people to be liked by the entire planet of earth and people in the satellites. I wish everyone can be like that with each other.
