It's called Llama Coder by MetaAI and Together AI.Together AI makes it easy to run or fine-tune leading open source models with only a few lines of code. Similar to Claude artifacts, Llama Coder uses open-source Llama models and is itself open-source, so you can even host it locally if you want. The best part is that the hosted version is free to use without any limits.
You can generate applications by simply sending a prompt.
The response streams in real-time, and once it's done, you’ll get a preview and the code. If something is missing, like an edit option, you can request changes through a text box, and it will generate the updated code. This process is iterative, allowing you to refine the app as needed.
Additionally, Llama Coder saves your creations in a code sandbox for easy viewing and downloading. For local hosting, you can clone the repository, create an .env file with your Together AI API key, and run the necessary commands (npm install and npm run dev). This allows you to generate applications locally.
