some context for this series: this was supposed to be a 4 part series that escalated in dark humor each episode till pauls birthday and the nuke, but the fans wanted more from the series and the creator didn't want to, so you'll see after the nuke the show slowly spirals down to paul leaving him to the annoying head (which is the fans) all the way to his suicide which is the creator saying "no more" (also the song and background getting more distorted) hope that clarifies the reasoning for this series
I was incredibly sad to see so many fans push for llamas with hats even tho filmcow didnt want to do more. There were so many other great videos on the channel that went under watched because of the fixation on this one series.
Also for some background on the dark ending. The creator felt done with it by around episode 5 and people wouldn’t stop asking for more so the rest of the series is kind of exploring when a concept is old hat and bores the creator. To save the series from itself he killed them all.
So basically not matter how good something is we are all batshit crazy and will eventually destroy everything as soul devouring fans...Okay that’s deep.
So remember in episode 10 when Carl woke up in the gore pit and couldn't remember how he got there? Mask-Paul told him he had a terrible fall, but it was really Carl's mind's way of trying to shield him from the agonizing truth of just how far gone he really was. He didn't _fall_ into the pit... He jumped.
Apparently the creator of this series only intended to make the first 4 episodes, but viewers at the time pushed for the other 8. There’s a video that analyzes what message the animator might’ve tried to get across. The first 4 eps were for terrible humor and bad laughs for everyone. But every episode after you notice, things start to derail. Paul leaves, Carl loses his touch and goes mad, and even the credit music becomes disturbing. Paul= the animator’s love for the series. Carl= the drive to continue animating it. The Mask of Paul= the at the time audience pressuring the creator to keep making stuff, aka. why it repeats “You must finish your work, Carl.” It was [us] beating a dead horse and making the animator miserable to continue it. After 12 episodes, the animator was free and ended the series. And...yea. I’m sure there’s many who could give a better explanation than me, I always go off on tangents lol.
People should've just chilled out and not force it, then maybe he might've wanted to make another episode out of freewill, been happy while doing it, AND the series wouldn't have as tragic and sad of an ending. Some fans, I swear... They needa be more considerate T-T

You know Llamas with Hat is good when watching the last episode makes you tear up a bit. Once you watch it multiple times and realize the said part about Carl going insane and missing the only person who cared about him. The music gets more broken like his mental health and mind, you know it’s a good series when it can make you laugh, confused you, concern you, and make you cry. A well balanced emotional trip.
I actually cried a little the first time I saw this series end. Carl is no doubt a monster, but he is also kray kray. Watching him cry at the end really hits me in the gut.
Glad to see y'all finally reacted to Llamas with Hats! I remember watching it years ago and it was the funniest shit ever. Relating to one of my previous video comments, asking to react to musicians, I want to be more specific. I think y'all should react to three Dimash Kudaibergen songs in particular, "Olympico," "Your Love," and "Unforgettable Day: Live 2017 Gakku." I think these three would be an amazing introduction for y'all to the world of crazy good vocalists. Love y'all! Edit: Dimash Kudaibergen is widely regarded as the world's best singer.

@@Imani73l Carl slaughtered millions of people, babies, women, children alike. He deserved to suffer, in fact I don't think he suffered enough. He definitely does not deserve any sympathy.
@@FleppyTheClown I know but I can't help it okay? I can't help feeling bad for him, I don't know I jus feel for anyone when i see them sad or suffering. So the last part where Carl is crying nd jumps literally broke my heart, I would've tried to stop or save him knowing damn well he'd probably murder me in my sleep. Does that make me foolish yes but I can't help it.
The RU-vidr Film Cow is not a stranger to getting attention from millions of viewers on RU-vid so when u said it seems this video/series doesn’t seem it was expected to blow up due to the sound quality, that’s kind of his style. He takes simple animation and gets numerous fans hooked on the crazy stories. Ex: Charlie the unicorn, Charlie teh unicron (different series), chris brown the super hero, and much more

things i noticed after several watchings: the ending song getting increasingly distorted "you must finish your work, you're almost done", when Carl is the last living thing on earth "sound of forgiveness, screaming and then silence", as Carl yells on the bridge before jumping off and ending in silence
