Carl was harvesting the orphan meat to construct the meat dragon that he somehow animated. Also, the red swirling sky over the Eiffel Tower is the blood portal he was reminiscing about when he appeared with his peg leg for the first time right before going to find Paul. I’ve watched Llamas with Hats far too many times. 😶

Dude, no shame. It went from silly and insane to ridiculous and then jumped straight to the darkest ending possible.

Ik I’m late but in case y’all didn’t know the creator of the series wanted to end it after the third one but since his fans wanted more. He slowly made the mask more gruesome to represent the fans constantly wanting more from a dying comedy skit. He also made Carl more crazy to represent himself trying to top himself every time but not being able to after a while until all he can do is end it. (In his case Carl killing himself represents the creator making it impossible to keep the series going.)

Where did you read this? From his ama this is what he has stated: "Originally there was only going to be five episodes, but after the forth one came out everyone guessed what the fifth would be. Carl isn't funny if he can't surprise you. My partner Scuffy disliked the series, and suggested that the llamas should just "blow up." This sparked an idea for a legitimately surprising fifth episode: Carl's depressing descent into madness and eventual suicide. The only way to end Llamas with Hats in a legitimately funny way was to end it as sadly as possible."

im so glad they kept wanting more.. Its gruesome, and that's well represented, and i hate pressure when drawing or animating.. But.. The results are amazing..
