If u from age like 27-35 these songs are very special. Every generation has an advantage and ours is the ability to have heard this era as like teens but can appreciate all the surroundin eras past and present. Me personally i prefer this sound and wish it would come bacc. But at least i truly got to experience it.
@@larenzocizzle9371 every era has good music. There is still good music in 2019. The only difference between then and now is good quality music was mainstream now the trash songs are mainstream. The quality is hidden underneath all the rubble. If all you listen to is the radio then you would have that type of opinion.
Currently 32 years old married with two babies but this song always brings me back to junior year of high school 🥰 and 106th and park how time flies💙 November 2019💙
Music is literally a time machine. When I hear this is takes me back to being the same age as I was when I first discovered it and the nostalgia is so powerful. Music is amazing.
Best lyricist, but 50 was the only one that knew how to put a good together in terms of structure... thanks to Jam Master Jay that had him write for months until he got it right
@Tebza Modisane they dropped him because he started dissing them, and started acting like he better than them. plus he ain't the best that's 50, the dude that discovered him
Let's take this time to appreciate Avant for this classic while he's still alive with us. I miss the early 2000's and the music. Glad you were apart of my childhood and making it special. Thank you, Avant.
@@elhajjmalikel6266 That's a rumour. A false one. He himself has denied it. And even if he was dying, why "appreciate" him now even though he's been out since the early 2000's. Give people their props while they're alive and healthy instead of saying this fake shit when you think they're sick and dying SMH.
Baby, Avant on the hook was too perfect on the hook. I’m in the last year of my 20s and damn I miss all my childhood/teenage music. Hell, I even cut up to both my parents and grandparents music
Something about music from the 90s and early 2000s that just resonate through your body in a way I can't explain. It could be knowing you can never go back in time, or a reminder 'good times' can't never never be forgotten.
Kandii2Flyy and it sounds atrocious! I don’t really like rap at all. I think it is a joke. I feel like it’s all about the image of the singer or rapper and they are all Clowns! But I do have the upmost respect for older stuff especially from the 80s and 90s and maybe early 2000s. Rap today is pathetic in my opinion. Every track sounds the same and it seems like if it’s over two months old it’s not cool anymore haha. So gay. People need to listen to real music that was made by talented black.
We had it good in the early 2000s man.. Life was simple, Music was good same with sports.. Now everything seems complicated and confusing. RU-vid is the closest we'll ever get to an actual time machine
Trust me bro I feel you man I'm always teary eye cos it makes me go back to when I had crushes, when life was simple and the feeling I had for the songs when I was young I still feel them today 😔
It makes me wanna cry knowing that Banks sampled this song from Natalie cole and knowing that she recently passed thats so sad.I'm glad hip hop samples musical legends.
This beat reminds me of Christmas. LOL! I always listen to this during the winter for some reason. Takes me back to 04-06 when G-Unit dominated the rap game. I'll never forget the g-unit era of hip hop.
torria Williams what's going on my love I'm just kicking back decide to go through my phone seeing you so what's happening just kick it back like I said watching the football game on the Cowboy fan can I be your friend
back when music had classic written all over it, man this song brings back memories I miss them good ol days. I am getting this time machine ready to go back, your more then welcome if you want to come. 🕑💺
Still know the lyrics by heart to this day!The video and the melody! Used to be obsessed, i was 14 then. The mid late 2000s was just 🔥🥹♥️. Used to think about my sumner crush listening to this. Those lyrics were grown, sexy and kinda adulterous listening to it as an adult 🤣
PepeEsGallante Facts Homie.... Miss when you could have hip hop and rap blend to make records like this , but be able to separate it in sound which made both genres unique.
