Maybe it’s just me but the idea of Lloyd’s powers being passed on kind of defeats the idea of the green ninja prophecy. It implies that other people before and after him will possibly be better green ninja, and then we basically have an Avatar cycle situation. But I trust Doc and the crew to deliver in the way seasons 1 and 2 P1 already have.

Even if Lloyd dies I doubt there will ever be a new “Green Ninja” the whole Green Ninja was the ninja prophesied to defeat Lord Garmadon and the Overlord. The green ninja is a ninja of prophecy. I feel like what makes Arin unique is the fact that he doesn’t have an elemental power, I feel like they should keep it that way because just giving him Lloyd’s power feels like a cheap writing excuse and it makes it feel like all the seasons of Lloyd being special and being the “chosen one” was for nothing. I like arin the way he is, I feel like they could do so much and could use his character as a way to show the audience that anyone could be hero/ninja even if you don’t have elemental powers.

TANNER, STOP MAKING THIS THEORY MAKE SENSE 😭😭😭😭 But fr, I don't care what anyone says: I like- no, I actually LOVE Arin's character. He has SUCH great potential to be a very layered and complex character-- he's got so much room to grow, and even possible room to (like Lloyd did, being the son of Garmadon and part Oni) become an antagonist. (with his jealousy of Sora and the other ninja from not having an elemental power). In my opinion, he can really go places. I think this would be horrible for arins character. It seems like they are setting up arin to have a "you don't need powers to be strong" kind of arc. Giving him Lloyds powers would ruin this.

i dont mind Lloyd giving up the green ninja only if he becomes tge gold ninja again and rise to another plane onf existence (Not killing him of he my fave ninja since i was a child watching ninjago on cartoon network)

Wait, isn't green energy just weaker type of gold power? I always thought that Lloyds power can't be passed like every other power and only Lloyd and the first spinjitsu master could use it.

i don't think arin should be the new green ninja,as arin's whole thing is that he has NO powers,but he can use spinjitzu. So it would ruin his character.

Lloyd just started leading the ninja so i doubt he's gonna die. I have a feeling they might kill off kai.

How many times do I have to say DON'T GIVE ARIN POWERS. Like seriously think about it from a story perspective for two seconds at least. Arin, firstly is the most committed Ninjago has ever been to "you don't need powers to be a hero". His sheer existence is the best thing they've ever done for that message. Secondly, he is the only Ninja to not have powers currently which might make him question himself as a ninja. Him learning to get around that difference is way better than him getting any kind of power. Oh and also idk if Ninjago would commit to killing a main character permanently, even in the big climax of Dragons Rising.
