Yes bro!! I’m ashamed of myself for only discovering you through top boy.. this song is probably more relevant now than ever and still mad underrated cos you speak the truth! Looking forward to the album 💪🔥💙
❤️i’m sorry for everything you’ve been through; if there is church hurt I am genuinely sorry what you went through and people not representing the real Jesus, God really wants to let you know that He loves you so much. He sent his one and only Son down, Jesus Christ, to die for you and i while we were still living in sin( and raised Him from the dead). With Him you can be made new, you are covered with the Precious Blood of Jesus. Following Him is not going to be easy, cutting off sin, changing ways that you live in sin and/or cutting off friends. Not living like the world can be hard in the beginning. But it really is worth it. Please start reading the Bible and pray to receive Him im in a way that is undeniable. Because He will make Himself known to you. i say this to you in love and compassion. Jesus loves you and start to live for Him. It will be the best opportunity of your life. Romans 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (LSB) (Bible translation) God Bless you. God Loves you and He wants you to go to heaven turn to Jesus Christ and repent of your sins. Repent meaning changing your way of thinking and actions by changing from your sinful ways. Sin is simply what separates us from God; it’s missing the mark and disobeying God’s commandments ❤
awsome truths spoken ! For me though it was cops comming to my school in Pacoima and telling us how euphoric the drugs make people feel . Then they said "don't do drugs " .lol. I never had peer pressure . I was ahead of the pack lol. I actually hid my cigarette and weed smoking from my friends when in 4th grade. Never made it to highschool .......Or first 3 uears or that matter .
That’s how it started for me at 14 when I found my dads hash stash lol, went to see my pals who were a school year older, went into an older dudes car and smoked a fatty and greened out, puked up out the window walked home in the pissing hard rain saying never again! Since then I’ve smoked weed for 15 years and sniffed bare packets! Lol
This reminded me of a quote I once read: "HIV was only an issue until pharmaceutical companies could profit from it". Powerful tune that makes you think. This art.
The virus they claim causes AIDS hasn't been isolated to prove it actually causes disease. Check a book called "what really makes you ill". Eye opener.
2024 and I’m still listening to this quality tune. Lyrics are fire 🔥 AF. Never heard another song like this since I first heard this song. Words hit hard to reality. Only song with the most deep truth. 💯
The musical director/ consultant whatever the title is for Top Boy needs a raise. If it wasn't for that person I never would've heard this gem!! This should be a hit.
@@mickdarsey6814 - yeah cos nobody in the history of the world has suggested that legal drugs are just as bad as illegal ones, and big pharma is just another form of higher, elite, drug dealer 🙄
I heard this on Top Boy and can't believe it's been out for years. The beat is clean, but his cadence on the beat is perfect. Bars are flawless and make you think. I'm in the states but was stationed in the UK for years and try to stay current.. I missed this, though.
Holy shit! It was early February this year and was heading down the mountain at Madarao Japan. The bus driver, a real ski bum, played this and I went to Shazam it, but realised I didn't have any data. I've been searching for it ever since and finally found it!
Honestly this is the most powerful rap song I ever heard. It is so raw and true, everything about it is just so intense. Everytime I listen to it it gives me goosebumps because it is so on point I cant even put it into words. This track is so underrated.. thank you for this masterpiece.
This is quite possibly one of the best songs ever written! One of those masterpieces that comments on the state of society and sheds light on, or atleast sparks the mind (young or old) to take those steps we ought to take to make the community a better place. It can never NOT be relevant. Needs more views asap!
Had this playing in the motor last few week after clocking it on top boy. 7 years old, fk me boys wide awake, top spitting. Britain is on fire an has been for years, some fkng unbelievable talent 👏👏🔥🔥
See... I'm gonna be honest, before Top Boy, I never looked into Rap & Hip Hop in the UK. Even though my dad told me if I was gonna be successful in the music like my cousin, i had to expand my listening. In return, I got put on to 3 good artists. Lloyd Luther, Asher D, & Kano. All 3 of them literally have a track I like because of the concept of the video, the words & content. I study words and tempo. I love this tempo & Lloyd keep a lot truth on this track. All you have to do is listen. This is a treat right here. That beat has the perfect tempo. This made my Audiomack Playlist. Now I'm subscribed to this page. Much props to Lloyd Luther from across the pond... Rochester, NY, USA.
Artists like this don't receive enough credit. 6 minutes of slamming culturally relevant lyrics, not to mention that insane baseline. Yet masses celebrate mumble rap about cocaine and women. Spot the mistake.
THE FKN LYRICS HERE ARE NEXT LEVEL.. Big respect from Ireland!! "The best foods Alkaline for PH even with pesticides" Whaaatt. Knowledge. Got to listen too this 5 more times. Irish mob
Yeah A few mates, weed in a car That's how it starts, peer pressure Bored, so we smoke weed in the dark Til' we get munchies, sweet or a mars The youth club's shut like a door It's a circle three-point one four Go to a dealer, try and get drugs on loan Inhale and then sleep on floors Dre said go get high So if there's no sex like she's tight Hide from pigs, sell all on the shit Or sit on her mates and get high like a kite It's IQ vaccination but the TV already leaves you brainless And pharmacists don't wanna cure you They make money, business ain't for you Unless you're the boss They will never cure aids I'm tryna gauge what Magic Johnson's paid What are we swallowing today? I spit brave them emcees are dead John Wayne I'm an emcee's pain paracetamol I make them suicidal eat them all Life ain't sweet at all So we all drink ethanol And take antidepressants Like love; it's a bad dependence Fiending, the boss dresses you Like a girl that's fake like a ride The first eye is great but wait The drop's always bigger than the high that you gain Now you're addicted, tryna keep that high you made The circle's made it's a game And like the U.S Soon there'll be no NHS Imagine the cash the pharmacy gets Never used to be any prescription victims But now a hypochondriac's stressed Like OCD there's big dealers Going in hard like V for his penis Sellin' E to believers Use it fair like jeepers creepers I'm parrin' your raps When they say my bars are hard like smack Girls think they're bulimic And we think that we ain't lean enough to get gash So many take steroids Slimming pills, if you think that you're fat Every month there's a new virus scam So you take new pills, supply and demand Then create a demand like sex or coffee Recreational drugs or toffees There's no end to it, yo Just because we all think we're below the controllin' when my spirit don't even need the components But try tellin' the crackheads, "Stop, droners" You won't know where your phone is, robbed Now they know where your home is Have we all got bipolar, or do they misdiagnose ya? For the cash What's after that? The aftermath There's no Dre rap for that I have to ask the popularisation Is this the popularisation They like us if we're a dead patient Blood is amazing Is it Mason? We're always high, it's a fact Off bad chemicals like doner kebabs Big dealers are always poppin' the gat There's three ways to die just lookin' at that In fact the whole news bulletin is a trap So it's drugs we use like knobbin' a slag My mate went mad like a dog and a cat In a mental ward because of rockin' the hash The weed he smoked wasn't natural Factual, they went down with capsules But that one-point-four can be medicine Like hemp, an other form can be used for fuel But alcohol's legal; fags are legal Which kills three-hundred percent more people? So, you see? Who we got left to count on? The police? No, other only hope we be gettin' Is guys like those who made penicillin If that was invented now, pharmacists would be makin' a killin' And already like Freddy, they are killin' 'Cause cash ain't in cures but treatment Drugs in food, killin' No phones for cures, man, they're chillin' We're products of peer pressure Claimin' we smoke for the leisure But we don't smoke for the pleasure It's a bad habit like fucking girls, you know it ain't forever The drugs they sell are placebos Nurses care but they don't Waiting lists for drugs better than chemo More poison, but it's the only hope Where you live even counts, you can't get treatment in certain towns That's why things are a steeple They just see numbers not people Imagine having aids Thinking of wars more the cause for aids Humans are the only species that trick their own, that includes disease So we take what we don't need I know guys with pills for every vitamin The third world don't get medicine they need Genocide, like me with any emcee We're gonna end with pills for tea with addiction, like girls with shoes on their feet Pharmaceutical companies are governments and dealers Moving seeds Shit foods, we're sent to buy Acidic, but much worse than the sprite The best food's alkaline For PH even with pesticides Now to stay alive You have to work your arse off or risk your life No time to cook rice You're stressed, rely on drugs for good times So there's many dealers, poker Not many healers I know of Like it's their fault if they shoot up LSD, it's either dole or toot, rock No work like a hard drive crash your work is hard work We go and get smashed And the unemployed have more time to drink so death from drink is a rising fact At least it won't be overpopulated Taking your wealth and then you get cremated Give it to the rich, like a slag you hated So all that's left is them And some slaves wit' Have we ever been addicted? Is it a state of mind we've been gifted We'll all be in the wine-house like Amy for the pain they've inflicted They control everything, mould everything How they don't know anything? Til' we learn we are actually free And we ain't robots like Wall-E Or take what we think sets us free But it makes us psycho like Tempa-T Til' we know telepathy, we might be on pills, vodka and weed There's more to life, it ain't over Taking shit until you fall over 'Cause it's fine, it's our culture Do you wanna die early? Answer that, rant over Actually no I got flows when they actually don't They say they care but fluorides in water So I know that they actually won't Do anything they actually pose? Is a natural element for all we know So I fuck like a penis 'Cause we're in a system of a genius They wanna make more money So they don't care 'bout anyone's mummy Get what you're given, if anyone's funny They will start merkin' anyone's money They say everything in moderation But half of what moderated is fatal It's up to you whether you know or I told ya Rant over
@Al Marcel I'm an educated musician my man, don't try to patronise me, I know the difference. Go and listen to his back catalogue which he composed himself which include SONGS.
All the puppets in the industry and this guy wasn’t afraid to speak the truth. I became a fan of this guy the first time I heard this song. Didn’t need to hear anymore….. May the truth be exposed, he called out a lot and predicted 90% of the lyrics, ever since this was released it has all unraveled and come to light. Even the video is a message, he keeps looking in the mirror and aware of his surroundings, looking behind him etc. it’s genius
I listen this song on repeat more then 500 times + this lyrics is insanly real.. this is litterly how europe / america work for loooong time also the 3rth world.. Lloyd Luther thanks you so much for this song its the realest song i have heard these days. I hope you're doing good.
I was on 39 medications per day and I stopped taking them recently. I don’t feel fatigued anymore I do have health issues but I cope with them naturally. Positive Thinking!
The fact is this song is probably the most important song of Uk Hip Hip, global hip-hop in years, probably decades. Certainly now. If the youths listen to this….the one at least one will be awakened to realise that the life they are living is one designed for them to fail.
