I had the pleasure of seeing him at Crystal Palace football ground, Reggae Sunfest, in 1980s with Dennis Brown, Leroy Sibbles, Aswad, Dean Fraser, and many others. I shall never forget, that day. Such a great, great day. Thank you Sir Lloyd Parkes, you have taken Reggae International, like Bob Marley, and I am forever grateful. You are The Greatest Bass Player. The great Lloyd Parks!! Totally loved this interview, saw him in 1974 in Bristol United Kingdom. I jumped on stage and managed to shake his hand,I was 19 at that time. Brilliant artist!!!!

Apart from Leroy Sibbles. Lloyd parks is the best bass player ever!. When I hear him play bass, my waist starts to "tune up". I grew up on his music and my favourite songs are Mafia, Officially and Baby hang up the phone. Listen to those choons, especially the 70's versions and if you love reggae, you will understand how much I love his basslines. Did not know he was the bass player for the album Double Barrell. I still have my late brother's copy and will look for his credit on the album sleeve. I love both his and Lloyd Charmers music Bad. Our classical music. Learned a lot in terms of additional music he contributed to. I hope he knows how much he is loved and how much we appreciate his talents.

My older sister who is an old hits fan, and I had attended a lot of these stage shows back in the late 80’s and 90’s. I am so happy I was given the opportunity so see so many of these artists on stage. Some great memories for me. Teach thanks again…….One Love ❤️

I was at the Carib Theatre in 1975 or 1976 at one of the Christmas morning stage shows with Gregory Isaacs, Leroy Smart. Lloyd Parks & We The People Band is one of a kind. Ruddy Thomas is a class act.
