Without doubt, the best LLWS game I've ever seen! Some talented kids with great attitudes. Win or lose they should all be very proud. Hope they had as much fun playing it as I did watching it!
To this day I still watch this video lorenzo butlers performance was amazing, California’s comeback was definitely one for the books in Williamsport, one of the best games ever played
RedJohnnny this really sucks. i play for a allstar team that is not a offical little leauge member. we could have been in great lakes reginal because a couple wisconisin teams that were in the state thing we had beat. we were one of the top teams
Lorenzo’s three 3 run home runs reminds me of Pablo Sandoval’s 3 home runs in game 1 of the World Series, which just happened to be 2012, like this game.
I can't help but cry watching this game. It makes me miss playing competitive baseball more than I could ever describe. Best days of my life were spent out on a ballfield.
One of the great LLWS games ever. It was a shame a Williamsport Ump calls the final strike on a near ground ball outside, but THAT's a "Volunteer Ump".
Tennessee did not deserve to win this...if California was in the champions hi the score would have been something like Japan-6 California-5. Not Japan-13 Tennessee-2
6yr old baseball slugger hits it 180ft! in tball!? no lies folks. Jacksonville Florida's very own Jacob Kendall. Worth checking out folks!! ;-) ( Jacob Kendall tball farthest)
Actually 1.) a lot of the kids that go to the world series have only been playing for 2 or 3 years not there whole life, 2.) the number one rule of baseball is no crying 3.) they're 11-13 you dont cry when you messup or if you get hurt they should be used to it by now 4.) it sounds like you have some unresolved issues of your own
Wtf are you talikng about go look at this years stats a lot of the kids have not been playing their whole life and its 11-13 not 10-12. You dont cry in any sport especially when its brodcasted world wide and especially if you're a boy especially in baseball.
you say a lot like you know that's a fact, 95% of those players have played since they were 5 also, i wasn't talking about crying after they get hit or something, i was talking about after they lose the biggest game of their life
Any little leaguer knows scoring 10 runs in an inning to comeback, on tv or not, is something you’ll remember the rest of your life....especially when you give up a 9 spot in the top of the 7th. I can’t even imagine the pain
they spent their entire lives playing a game, they make it to the big stage, get their bright chance and come up short, you don't know what it feels like until it happens to you
I live in Goodlettsville and was at this game. It was amazing to see this young recreation league all star team come together and play at the level they did. That 6th inning will never be matched!
I was at that game and I was on the second row on the grandstands and after the fifth inning my cousin wanted to leave but I said we should stay and then everybody was hitting homeruns it was amazing good game
