Was a great little league World Series

I live about 5 miles from the River Ridge (Louisiana) subdivision. When the kids came home, they were greeted at the airport. They got a special parade, then around Mardi Gras time, most of them were invited to ride the floats for the Carnival parades. They were probably a bit tired when they got home, but the fan reaction had them almost shell-shocked. Of course, they exemplified that old rule... a thing worth doing is worth doing well. Congrats, River Ridge. Even if NONE of you play major league baseball, for a brief moment you were on top of the world.
